First time listening to Moon Shaped Pool my favourites were Decks Dark and Identikit for their obvious hooks, but after a while Present Tense grew on me to the point where it's not only my favourite song on the new album, but one of my favourite Radiohead songs ever.
It is genuinely brilliant. I wouldn't say this is a particularly good performance of it though unfortunately. It is the first time though I totally forgive them. I saw them perform some KOL stuff at Glastonbury in 2011 and to be honest they sounded pretty bad and the timing and vocals were awful because the stuff was brand new. I saw them do the same songs in november 2012 in Manchester and they were phenomenally good. I guess it takes a while to get playing them live exactly right. First time I heard 'Morning Mr Magpie' live you could barely tell what it was and they kept stopping and starting. lol
Thank you so much for capturing this, it was my favourite song so I didn't want to record all of it myself. The quality is great, what a lovely night that was!
absolutely stunning, god my desire to see these guys live trumps everything. so glad they are continuing to put out this level of quality music. A moon shaped pool so quickly became a daily play for me. just fantastic. thanks radiohead
u guys remember when Thom sang this song in latitude 09, he sang the part "it's no ones bussines but mine" with a falsetto, that falsetto it would be perfection in the album.
I think that the studio version has a different vibe. Played live in this key, the song it's more "warm", while on AMSP it's like living in a cold winter day.
Also, because that way the album wouldn't flow very well, that's why Ful Stop and Identikit were modified for the studio version, and they play these with more energy live.
This song is simply incredible. What camera did you use to record this? The quality of the audio and video are amazing. I went to a Coldplay concert and tried to record some parts of it but, saddenly, I 'lost' it due to a problem with the quality of the audio.
I really wanted this to be good as it is my favourite track off the new album along with 'The Numbers'. It's not very good. I forgive them though - it looks and sounds really difficult to play live. After the amount of times I've seen them live I know we can depend on them to be playing this so well in a few months that it will be better than the album version.

So exciting to finally see them playing together again after 4 long years!!
4 years? we've been waiting since 2009 T_T and they only came once :(

Couldn't agree more. It's a work of art.

they delivered like a mf on this album
Radiohead always delivers. Some albums are beter than others, but not one album is "shitty". One of the greatest bands ever.
Gerhardt van Heerden I think King of Limbs is probably the most disappointing but it still has a few good tunes on.
30 years later and these guys are still at the top of the game.
This song is gorgeous.
It's my favorite from the album, maybe one of their best ever
This song is absolutely incredible live. My favorite from the new one, along with Tinker Tailor!
Thanks for posting a video that is wonderful in sound and vision quality. Very much appreciated.
2:47 sounds even better live, fuck me.
This song is such a blissssss
meesterlijk nummer..... keer op keer.....
Best song on the entire album.
Already one of my favorite Radiohead songs of all time! Beautiful!
Could not be happier that this is finally a part of their catalogue.

+Demi Krueger No problem!
Thank you so much for capturing this, it was my favourite song so I didn't want to record all of it myself. The quality is great, what a lovely night that was!
+Hester Julia Voddé Indeed, what a night!
The choir voices on that one part are magical
they're amazing playing live.
"In you I'm lost," ironically holding the song together as it threatens to go off the tracks. Perfect vocal performance.
absolutely stunning, god my desire to see these guys live trumps everything. so glad they are continuing to put out this level of quality music. A moon shaped pool so quickly became a daily play for me. just fantastic. thanks radiohead

+Idioteque Radiohead sounds like foals
Anyone else think it sounds way better live? you actually hear everybody's parts
+Andrew Peterson Haha the lemon!😂😂😂😂

Nagenieten
+mariekskeeee Jaa! En nog lekker lang nagenieten ook!
+Paul van Laar absoluut! Bedankt voor de goede uploads!!
why the fuck do radiohead always arrange better versions of songs live than on recording?
Have to disagree, I think that the AMSP version is amazing.
Nah man, they've get really cool guitar dynamics going on here that aren/t on the album.
+Victor Gomez me too
because then you would be dissapointed if their live version is worse than studio's?
Also, because that way the album wouldn't flow very well, that's why Ful Stop and Identikit were modified for the studio version, and they play these with more energy live.

from wich Planet you must come to compose such a Baby ?

2:11, lol
Kreygasm
Thank you for the record! Was the concert good?
+MyNameIsDado Dude, it's Radiohead, it's inherently good. Don't ask silly questions and just enjoy
Man I ask whatever I want stay calm
beautiful. If only they had a back vocal to that second part to increase more intensity, or at last a synth would do it. anyway sounds gorgeous.
LOl @ the people saying this performance is better than the album version. It's sloppy as hell. Which is fine, they're very new to playing it live.
no se ah les falta
+razecah cucu jaja ¡muy acertado tu comentario!
I think the acoustic version from 2009 said so much more and had more soul, impact and meaning.. this version has been overworked...
Totally agree
The live version really dissapointed me
live version is better.
