It’s doing better. McNeese has remodeled a lot because of damage, and there are several buildings slated for demolition. They’re going to move the campus bookstore across from the Nursing College once it’s built. South of 210 looks better, particularly Nelson, and the rich folks area. The mall area is still nice. There’s a new casino on the West Lake side called Horseshoe. Still too many abandoned buildings everywhere and blue tarps. It’s getting better.
Lake Charles? sometimes but not all the time I'm from lake Charles so I can tell you now if you wanna go don't live over that bridge there are some dangerous people there
I am from Lake Charles, live in Westlake. Still to this day I am shocked as to how much the city has changed since Hurricane Laura and Delta.
How has it changed?
Next time, would you go more like Ryan St, Prien Lake Rd, McNeese. etc...
