I’ve owned mine since it was released. It’s a fantastic watch and I like the way it wears and looks. Like you said, the supplied strap is a little stiff, but it is very durable. The crown is a little small, but that is an aesthetic opinion, not a functional one. My only real “complaint “ is that I wish it had drilled lugs. The anti-magnetic material is a big deal to me. I work around some strong magnets and it really makes a difference. It’s a keeper for sure.
Finally, a watch reviewer with the same size wrist as me! I’ve had mixed results with ordering extra links from Citizen. I have both the black and blue Challenge divers with bracelets and could use an extra link for each one but somewhere during the process of ordering the extra links Citizen just ghosted me. I tried following up but never got a reply. So I have to wear them with the diver’s extension pulled out a bit. This has put me off from ordering other Citizens on bracelets. They seem to be sized for an 8.25 inch wrist and mine is around 8.5 inches so they are almost always a bit tight. In the past I’ve had no problems getting extra links when they are available. If extra links were not available then Citizen would usually tell me so, but not this time.
I have this watch and it's amazing. I shelled out $200 aussie dollars and got the bracelet. Wow this on a bracelet is seriously next level. It gets more wrist time than my 3 Omegas. Don't be put off with the strap go to citizen and get the bracelet you won't be sorry.
they need to release this black with bracelet, been waiting months for that to happen. yet they keep releasing new bracelet version of this in funky colours
If watches such as this can gain or lose up to 20 seconds a day, why wouldn't anyone go for a solar variant? I don't know about their Evo drive watches but I know the Seiko 573 could gain/lose 15 seconds per month!!! Holds a charge for 10 months and the battery lasts 10 years?! What's not to love!?
@@TheChromeTree Love solar powered watches too but this one is not available with such movement. Also automatic mechanical watches are a different beast for many enthusiasts vs quartz/solar.
........ when I look at it on my wrist it looks spectacular ........
@@marcuschamp1460 Pretty pretty great on the wrist🤩

I picked up a factory refurbished on a bracelet for $310 on eBay. Looks perfect! Super comfortable, love the bevel!
Nice review and nice watch! If that's a borer, 90% of dive watches are as well. If it was a bit smaller (39 mm) I'd go for it.
@@hbgghx5764 It definately does not wear large so reccommend to try it 😎

@@BigFerg-hf6uv Tempted! I am very happy with nylon strap for summer but winter is coming 🥶
I think like you the Mercedes hands are great,is possible that people that don’t
like them are because Rolex use them a lot in there watches.

Looks like a lucky watch and a great price for that one .

9 series Miyota movements generally run in the single digits. They deliver much more than they promise.
