My lolo, PFC Segundino Atrero is a member of the 10th BCT alongside Cap. Conrado Yap. He is a machine gunner, he also has been featured in the Military's star and stripes newspaper of April 28, 1951. I remember all of his stories about how bloody the battle of yultong was. He said that it was so dark that they relied on sounds and muzzle flashes to engage fire on the enemy. The number of the enemies is so enormous that they were ordered to stay on their foxhole and shoot everything that moves and make sure they will kill at least 10 enemies per soldier, by the morning he saw piles of bodies few meters away from his foxhole. He died at the age of 94 last January 3, 2021. I'm always proud of you, lo.
Is he still alive, please tell me he still alive, alot of citizens in China are brainwashed to call these lies, we need more people like your grandpa to tell its real

My grandfather was sent to korean war at a very young age i think he was 18 or 19. He told his parents that he will study law in manila. However, instead of enrolling to law school he signed up for the army (he was maybe 16 when he entered, he lied about his age coz he was so earger to enter the army). After a few years, he went back home to bontoc province in his military uniform💗 I can't imagine how his parents must've thought after knowing that their son went to korean war without their knowledge. Heheheh. I'm so proud of my brave lolo💕
