- For the Urquiza family of Oceanside, NY, the one thing they always dreamed of having was a dining room table. George Oliphant and the George to the Rescue team turned the Urquiza family’s sunroom into a year-round room for dining, perfect for family gatherings.

There are so many families who have dining spaces who no longer sit together for family meals..but here you have a beautiful family who desperately wanted to sit together, but couldn't..you know, its the seemingly little things that keep the family glued together.. and this is one of them.. Thank you George to the Rescue and team for giving this family a place to stay bonded...Keep being a light in the dark. 👍👍
This tells me there is a very bad systemic problem within all those who are elected to do. I live in OZ & I know the Councils are useless and contolled by a corrupt system

George and his wonderful team did a awesome job making mom happy and I know the whole family will love having those family meals together because it's important for families to have that bonding time . As a child we always had meals together and laughed and caught up on everyone's days adventures. Thank you George and his wonderful team for making people happy and i love watching you do that.

Amazing video i just saw. George and his rescue team did a fantastic job of giving that family the dinning room that they always wanted. It is so nice that they can now have family meals in there new room. George is an amazing person i admire him for all he does for deserving family in need of a rescue. Love all the videos he show. There are places that are still under stay-home orders??? Wow....where I live never really shut down, but now everything has been open since May 1.
@@jb6712 in my country everything has reopened already but we are still being forced to wear face masks even though we have the lowest number of cases per capita in the whole of europe.. what a nonsense..

Great rescue, loved it. Nice to see this remake of a dining room. You should really add a revisit to these older shows.
Can I apply for myself? My kitchen needs an upgrade. In it a stove, dishwasher, freezer/fridge, washing machine, sink, and a stainless steel countertop. The floor is 6 by 12 feet with the entrance on one of the small sides, so there is little room to move.
Oh, yea. The bathroom takes a 2 by 3-foot chunk out of the kitchen too.
I made plans and drawings to extend the kitchen outwards. Because in the house all the walls are load-bearing this small the entire house is. All brick and concrete also.
The plans adding little less than half the space to the kitchen. It's not a lot, but it will be just enough to give a little more room to breathe. The drawings are a little over fifteen years old and still, I have not found the right heart to start building the extension.
There is a small challenge withholding me but I know you would love this. It's on the fourth (and top) floor of an apartment building.

This team and George would have a hell of rescues to do in Germany for German people who are forced to live in very very inhumane, diseases producing, unhygienic, full of mold and humidity, unsuitable for people who are forced to sit in a wheelchair, in very very tiny spaces and hopeless conditions! Kitchen is small they should have redone it too . I mean it's nice to do the sunroom but there more other room thats need help too

I don't understand why you didn't build a bedroom for the son then she could have had her original dining room back?
She wanted the sun room to be repurposed for it as it was going unused for the most part --- except as junk room, etc...
Somebody needs to learn how to set a table. The knife blade always faces inward toward the plate.
Oh please! You can find furniture that fits!🙄 My dining room is smaller than that space yet fits 6 people.
I don't know what's on the other side of that wall, but they could've made that room a lot bigger by just putting a case opening instead of a small door. Because that dining room looks isolated from the rest of the house. Also, ugly chandelier. They could've used a little more contemporary design.

I love George and his work. But that designer! The chandelier is SO ostentatious! It doesn't go with the cottage style of the house by any stretch of the imagination!!
It may have been part of Mrs Urquisa's vision board of her dreams and wish list. Everyone's tastes are different as was proven in the shopping excursion. George's choices were vetoed out of hand. 😆😆😆💕
