One of my favorite childhood memories is driving up to Melbourne Beach (from Miami) and staying at a "cheap" seaside motel for a long weekend. That feeling of exhilaration running down the steps onto the beach has never left me. The Space Coast is at the top of my list for my forever home.
What a great video! We moved from Westminster, Co to Trinity FL (Tampa area) 3 years ago. Lived in CO for over 40 years. We visited Melbourne Beach last weekend and fell in love with it! We may just move there one day. We may be snowbirds too someday. Thanks again!
Our Family was just there for a week. We got an Airbnb and we loved it there. We miss it there already. I actually miss it that's why I TH-cam videos about Melbourne Beach. We had the best shopping experience at Glitter Alley / Bonnie was AWESOME. Lots of friendly people there. We're from Minnesota & definitely be back.
such a small world @ezrastoyland8710 realtor from Minnesota ! been going since I was 5 every dec to Hollywood in between Miami and Fort Lauderdale and we recently stayed in Melbourne beach and I fell in love ! Just googled videos myself !
You are absolutely right! melbourne Beach is gorgeous, people really nice, big turtles come to beaches, lots of protected land preserved on the ocean, no high rises. Much better than the West Coast. South fl or Destin area. Sadly, being discovered lately as aerospace companies have come in nearby..great bike path along A1A and big wide beaches, greenery on the beaches. One of the few unspoiled by developers areas left in Florida.
Thanks, Jake. Cool video. We moved here from Orlando during covid. Absolutely love it! Live on Banyan with our dog and new baby. Hope to see you around. (We liked Rock Harbor when they used to meet in the park. That was really cool to go to an outside service. Also really like their Easter service on the beach! )
Really excellent video, Jake - well done! We're planning on buying an oceanfront condo this year and had been focusing on the Satellite Beach-Indialantic area, but we'll now consider Melbourne Beach area as well. We prefer a more 'laid back' vibe. On a side note; we'd take flying out of MLB any day over a non-stop out of Orlando. Just not worth the dangerous drive, chaotic airport roads and expensive parking, imho :)
Great video. My wife are in the Tampa area and looking to retire to Melbourne / Melbourne Beach. I agree with all the information you have provided. We love there and take several trips a year to Melbourne / Melbourne Beach. I would add 3 restaurants to your list, Cafe Coconut Cove, Hemingway's and Frigates :).

Hello Jake and Kaylee, We just watched your video. Well done. We live in Laguna Beach, Ca. and just bought a townhome in Mel Beach for pretty much exactly the reasons you talk about, with one added reason. My mom lives in Indiatlantic. Our townhome is just across A1A from the beach, so we are excited to be bi-coastal pretty soon. M
Looks like a great place. But dude, vast majority of people can’t afford multi million dollar homes or even half a million. So your target audience for that is nearly zero.
You can't swim on that beach at any time of the year, there is always a lot of air and therefore waves that drag you down, I don't like a beach where I can't swim.

Looks like Itanhaem-SP Brazil beach, is also beatiful, i would like to visit Melbourne some day, God bless you, good job ...

Thank you for this informative video! Could you share more about the home schooling and how one would go about it living in these small towns.
Melboring Beach.
Precisely.
U mean Melbourne Australia. Best beach
Less crowded including less traffic. Free parking on the beach that's actually available. Low crime. I'll take this over big cities and Cali.

You mentioned there was a small fee to park in the smaller lots. Is it per hour or a daily fee?
