Old School is the definition of a relative term. I'm 44, and met Dr J about 2 years ago, at work. My jaw was dropped, and I MADE my bartender set up a photo op lol. IT WAS DR J FOR GODS SAKE!

One of my favorite videos, I suggested it after the Kobe video.
I'm a Heat fan but I go back to that video all the time. That 2013 finals is the best basketball I've ever seen. 2014 we just couldn't keep up though, we weren't a good team that last year and Spurs totally exposed it.
I know peak GSW was a monsterous team, but they've never been in an environment where they had to play PERFECT basketball like those Spurs vs Heat finals. I still think they'd be able to edge them out in an all team tournament.
Dunno if you're a Spurs fan, but do you think that was the best Spurs team that has existed?

Iverson is known for having the best crossover of all time. He's under 6 feet tall but was an unstoppable scorer, one of the quickest to ever do it.

@@lakerlll1939 To each their own opinion and I'm not trying to be disrespectful in anyway but look up literally any top 10 greatest players of all time and Larry Bird is in there. Even the worst lists include him. AT his peak he was better than Magic to the point where he would tell people where he would shoot and there was nothing they could do. Made two game winning shots in one game, won 3 consecutive MVPS, etc. etc.
On a side note the most skilled players of all time in my opinion are: (these are just in my opinion)
Allen Iverson: P4P best basketball player.
Kobe Bryant: Best 1v1 player of all time.
Michael Jordan: No words.
Larry Bird: Slow as hell but he used his IQ and skills to be considered one of the Greats.
Steph Curry: I think he deserves to be on here.

Dude, NBA players are much faster than college players as well as stronger, bigger, etc. The thing that all rookies are known to struggle with is adjusting to the difference in speed of the game in the pros vs. college. Saying college players are faster would be like saying 18 and 19 year old track athletes are faster than Olympic and professional runners in their mid-20’s prime; it’s not even close. There is a difference in night to night effort until the playoffs, however. College games are shorter, and the season is roughly a third as long, so those players are definitely fresher game to game.
