    Drop the trailer off at there site for construction , Basement clean outs , or whatever let them fill it and you come back and pick it up. Charge by day and trip loads . Spend the extra money for a good lock and another tip they make dog tags for your dogs that are gps get one put it under the trailer that way you know we’re it is at all times ..

    What's a good size trailer to start off with? At this time all I have is a used 2007 Chevy Express Van with a 4.3 liter. I have used this van to haul off trash and it's done very well. I have made almost $1000 in a month, any recommendations is greatly appreciated

    • @hustlenation4779
      @hustlenation4779  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately I think you’re going to be limited with the power that your van has to pull any substantial roads and when I mean by that is anything that’s over about 8000 pounds. I always suggest getting the biggest trailer you feel comfortable pulling

    Dump trailer business is not a side hustle if your doing it legally. There’s DOT compliance, commercial insurance, and general liability insurance at a minimum. This is costly. Most people who do junk removal and dumpster hustle type things in my area, are doing so illegally and are not legit. These types of people will get confronted at some point or another by DOT. These types of people who operate illegally, hurt the people who paid their dues and run legit.

      @@etgrider77 You will have to secure the trailer. You can pull the emergency switch connector locking the brakes. Get a good welder/ fabricator to make a toung lock that hides the padlock or has limited access. Most toung locks on the market are not that secure. • @hustlenation4779
      @hustlenation4779  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The dump trailer is $200 for me to bring it by drop it off and when I pick it up I look at how much is inside of it and then I determine on what the cost of the dump fee is going to be because that is different than the trailer fee

      I think it’s much better to compensate somebody for the results they produce instead of their time so I would see if he wants to put any money into it himself so he’s got some skin in the game and then figure out a percentage of every load that he takes and that’s how he will get paid so if he does more than he makes more
