Hey Odin I'm curious how long did it take you to get good at nexus gyro aiming? I've seen your video and you look as good with it as mouse and keyboard. I got mine yesterday and really enjoying it , I'm easily a good bit better with it now over using a standard controller but still a bit away my M/k standard. Just curious if love to get to the same level on nexus as xim , your videos have been a great help btw.
Hey, it may take a week until you fully understand how to use it and what your preferred settings are. The learning curve, especially in the first few hours, is very high as gyro aiming is very intuitive. However to fully master it you must put in some hours just like with any other input device. Two things i would recommend you to do is to first find your preferred gyro smoothing settings, and then experiment with how to hold and grip the controller. Personally i perform the best when placing my thumb firmly in-between the ABXY buttons and fully disregard those (i use the back buttons for them then). This is for motion always on without using the analog stick. My second best grip that includes analog stick aiming is when using the right wrist for motion aiming, and fully relaxing the left wrist. So the right hand leads while the left hand follows. If you are a left-handed person you may want to try the opposite way. Overall id say go into an aim trainer of your choice (Fortnite, OW, AimLabs, ...) and experiment with the settings and grip. You will learn much more about how to hold and aim with a gyro in a couple of aim trainer hours than in hundreds of hours of normal gameplay.

Congratulations. After years of defending Xim mainly the MK adaptors by stating they are not a cheating device, then defending the Nexus with it's fantastic gyro system. All of a sudden I am now finding it has finally made the transition to be a cheating device.
Smart Actions are just a toolset that the user can customize to their preferences. The way the user sets them up is up to them. This is not much different to how it has worked the last few years, a mouse with macro functionality could also achieve recoil reduction when paired with a XIM. Or you used sub configs to achieve similar things with XIM Apex.
Hello!! This feature is so good, xim nexus slowly gonna be able to compete with mouse and key players, do you know the best bind for slide cancelling?
I would say the best bind for slide canceling might be the regular crouch button or a back button. Depending on what you use more often i would bind that action to the original crouch button, and the other action to a back button :).

Hey, you can perform just as well with Nexus as with a mouse and keyboard. A Nexus user recently reached an AimLabs score that is competing with the very best mouse players. If you are a controller player then Nexus could be your thing! :)

How do you use your Xim manger app for this tell me use a testflight and i need a code how do I redeem it or do i have to continue make configuration on a pc only
Hey, if you have an iOS device then install the Apple Testflight app. Its the software from Apple that is used to download beta software. Once you have it installed, use your iOS device and click on the Testflight Link in the XIM Forum. This will open Testflight and forward you to the XIM Beta Manager.

Please only install those and do not use the manager from the app store as that one is older and does not have the new features yet :).
I'm on the latest firmware and have updated manager from the play store but my bindings are the same as the old version. Is this feature only on certain games?
Hey, to use these features you must use the beta firmware for XIM Nexus and its adapter, which also includes the beta Android manager. That manager cannot be downloaded from the play store but only from the XIM website. Links should be in the video description.

Hey I just have one question I see a lot of people especially for apex legends use 2 different synchronizations like common for hip and then off sync for ads, would that be a thing that’s ok or do you think it just hurts your aim????
Yes thats absolutly OK and in most cases does not hurt your aim! :)

Hey, the new XIM uses the same Smart Actions as XIM Nexus, so you can use any of my Nexus Anti Recoil videos (or other setups such as Rapid Fire) with the new XIM as well! :)
Zum thema 6:02 mit Anti-Recoil
habe es genauso eingestellt wie du und man merkt zwar einen unterschied aber der kommt nicht mal ansatzweise an die gezeigte szene in 6:02 an mit exakt den Einstellungen im Video. Habe es in Warzone und Bo4 getestet und merke keinen großen unterschied bzw. eher einen leichten Nachteil weil er die Waffe auf längere Distanz einfach nur heftig nach unten drückt und man extrem gegensteuern muss, gibt es noch wege das irgendwie zu verbessern oder anzupassen? An sich ist die Idee geil aber es bringt in modernen Games leider gar nichts weil der rückstoß ja nicht mehr nur einfach gerade nach oben geht sondern entweder random die Richtung wechselt oder eben nach links und rechts zieht und dagegen kann man leider mit deinen Einstellungen aus dem Video nichts machen
Hast du noch tipps um den anti-recoil auch für Games wie CoD zu verbessern?
Hey, die Recoil Werte musst du natürlich auf das entsprechende Spiel bzw. Waffen anpassen, sonst funktioniert es nicht. Einen Video-Guide wirst du ab morgen auf diesen Kanal finden. Recoil welches die Richtung oder Stärke ändert kannst du auch ohne Probleme per Smart Action kompensieren.

The division is dying bc of lazy devs and a extremely toxic player base, DZ is a mess. Lazy devs ( relevel all ur items for 20% more damage/more armour ) :/ it’s dying

@@ebklong2581 I get that but just don’t see it happening with the division I’m over level 3000 and I’ve seen the downfall, basically the devs just neglecting and giving up on it. Real shame really good game but u can’t just recycle content.

Hi I’ve update all firmware except for the beta controller it comes up error not found I’ve also tried to download the beta manager app from xim website but the app won’t connect to controller and keeps crashing. How can I get access to these smart actions?
Hey, did your controller show a constant blue light when you tried to update its firmware? The manager crashes because it cannot find a Nexus controller with the correct firmware.
Why i cant duplicate a button like i have r2 100% then delay then r2 %0 then delay then r2%100 then delay then r2%0 it only shoot once
Did you delete additional R2 bindings? If you have two R2 bindings and the other one is say analog, then that one will permanently send R2 100% and wont allow your rapid fire to reset to 0%. See my Nexus Rapid Fire Setup video for what i mean by that.
I understand the anti recoil options but having multiple bindings what scenarios would this be useful in?
You can for example bind hold breath and zoom/scope to the same button to automatically hold your breath when you go into the ADS mode. Or a jump crouch button. While you jump you automatically crouch to be a smaller target.
I need help, My controller and adapter finally connected. Im using the new beta firmware, the only problem is my xim manager doesnt work because it's not up to date? My phone can only download 1 version from the ios store.

Hey, what do you mean with switch radial menu? In your XIM Config you can bind the button to "Radial Role" with which you open a radial menu in the game. That way radial menus will work.

Hey, please go into the global settings of your Nexus manager and do the calibration. First do the top one, then the bottom one. That will solve the issue. Also make sure to use the recommended ingame settings from the XIM website.

My xim manager is saying it's out of date and to download a newer version downloaded the newest versions on my phone and PC and it still says the app is out of date and can't connect at all any suggestions? Btw everything connected just fine before the update but now I can't even use the thing

Hey, you must update your firmware to the new beta one. Specifically the controller firmware, adapter firmware and manager. All 3 must be updated, then you will have those new features. Download links should be in the video description.

Hey, you must select "right trigger position" instead of an "analog right trigger" binding. Then you will have more options in the smart action manager.

Hey I just got my xim nexus I set it up properly, but my right trigger is stuck when I get into my game (rainbow six siege) it’s constantly shooting when I’m not clicking RT, and my controller plugged into the adapter is good to the trigger isn’t stuck so I’m confused on how to fix this !! Please help it’s stuck on my home Xbox screen too when I’m not in the game I’m not sure what’s going on.
Hey, when you get your Nexus please run the calibration so it works as intended. This is done by going into the global settings, then calibration and then first do the top calibration and then the bottom one. Follow the instructions on the screen while the calibration is running.

XIM4 still receives support and is now like 8 years old, for comparison XIM Apex is only 4 years old now.
Can anyone please point me to a video link on how to make groups for mappings ? I have jumped on pubg amd got rid of all recoil on the ak47 with a holo sight but what if I want to be that dirty player that runs a m249 with a 6x scope ? My recoil is completely off because of the ak47 settings I did . I'm just a Lil confused on how to make these groups and switch between them when I pick that specific gun I've setup up
I figured how to make 1 inactive and the other active but soon as I add the second gun configuration to "group b" then it literally takes away the aiming sensitivity I did ? Very confusing
Hey, there is no video on that yet, but i already finished recording the voiceovers for the weapon tracking video which explains the whole process by using groups. Until then you can check out the Nexus Manual which covers groups and modifiers as well! :)

The XIM Team is working on a PS5 solution, but its unclear of the XIM Apex will still be powerful enough for that.

@@XIMCentral I updated my controller firmware to get the smart bindings and more, also updated my adapter. Now when i try to connect it to my xbox it says that my xim manager is too old.

Stecke den Beloader mal in ein Handy-Ladegerät (5V 3A) und versuche es dann erneut. Verbindungsabbrüche liegen meistens an einer zu hohen Stromabnahme deiner Geräte.
@@XIMCentral habe ich genau so gemacht mit handy Ladegerät. Allerdings disconnected der Navigation move Controller, kann also nicht mehr navigieren. Maus, beloader funktioniert aber weiter!?
@@azza3477 Ah ok dann liegt es wahrscheinlich an der Batterie des Sony Navs. Lade sie entweder komplett auf, oder falls du den Kabelmodus benutzt dann entferne sie. Die Sony Navs sind fast alle über 10 Jahre alt und die Batterien fangen an schwach zu werden.

Whenever I open up the manager it’s just stuck on connect a controller can’t click anything but the version is 6.0.20220527
How do I update the app of my phone and controller
The app is updated through the download link in the XIM Forum (Android apk or Apple Testflight) and the controller firmware is updated via PC or Mac after downloading the flashtool from the XIM Forum.
What does the controller update allow because I have no plus config on the app

Hey, tap strafing is not possible on consoles since it lacks the lurch mechanic of the PC version. As a result its not possible to tap strafe regardless of the input device you are using (XIM, controller, ...).

@@hene6662 Check if the recoil is not randomized. Most console shooters have randomized horizontal recoil. This means it will be different each time and therefore cannot be compensated with Smart Actions.
@@XIMCentral Recoil is allways same. Its like up And litle bit left, then up and Hard right, then again up And little bit left And then straight up
@@hene6662 In that case you should be able to remove it with the XIM Nexus Smart Actions. Id say shoot a few magazines into a wall and check the bullet holes if they align with your previous magazines. If there is a big fluctuation between the locations where the bullets hit the wall then it will probably not be possible to compensate it.

@@XIMCentral ich hab die neuste Controller Firmware herunter geladen und da stand drauf das ich eine bestimmte Adapter Firmware auch installieren musste, hab auch gemacht. Und jetzt kann ich mein Controller nicht mehr mit dem Adapter verbinden. Aber ich kann ein Kabel in dem Adapter reintun damit ich mit mein Controller wired spielen kann
I feel like it's so complicated!.. I'd rather use regular mod just for the back buttons !
You can do that too, just use the copy and paste codes for the specific Smart Action you are interested in and paste them onto one of your back buttons! :)

Will the nexus ever perform like the apex or better
If you are good with a controller or gyro aiming then you can perform better than with XIM Apex.

The Apex is once setup is a laser just aim n fire guaranteed hits.
The nexus I got recoil control on hip fire with the help of another youtuber but It pulls down when aiming down sights.
@@RR-wc6nq Not sure what you mean but it sounds like you setup your Smart Action incorrectly. Yes you can perform as good as XIM Apex when using a Nexus, if not better. Gyro aiming is very comparable to mouse aiming :).

Yes we figured that much we just quickly tried to create something quick that day which works insanely good if I only hip fire. Interested to see what we can execute once we really play with it.

Hey, the setup is actually fairly simple. Just connect an Xbox One controller into your XIM Apex and then connect it to the PC. In the XIM Manager you pick the PC version of a config then. Anything else works like on consoles in terms of general setup steps.

@@alibz19 PlayStation controllers usually cause all kinds of problems. So for the best compatibility use an Xbox controller. If you want to use an Xbox360 controller then make sure its a hard-wired one. This means a Play And Charge Kit Xbox360 controller will not work.

The hardware of XIM Nexus is significantly stronger than the one of XIM Apex, Smart Actions would probably not be able to run on Apex. The upcoming XIM mouse and keyboard adapter will most likely change that though! :)
