Ace Combat 7: Every Day (updated with DLC) | The Lighthouse War

- One year ago today, the LRSSG set off to capture the submarine aircraft carrier Alicorn. Little did they know what the captain of submarine was up to. This was part of the Lighthouse War, initially fought between Osea and Erusea.
On the 15th of May, 2019, the Kingdom of Erusea declared war on the Osean Federation. This conflict is the focus of the story of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.
Prior, Osea constructed a space elevator on the Usean continent to assist with rebuilding after the Ulysses disaster and the previous Continental War. The government of Erusea believed Osea was exploiting the continent and Erusea, ultimately culminating in the kingdom capturing the space elevator as well as the two Arsenal Birds defending the elevator.
Ace Combat 7 explores the theme of drone warfare and different perspectives. Unmanned aerial vehicles constantly show up mission after mission. They are a major element of the story. The story is told from various perspectives, from an allied mechanic, to the leader of the enemy, to the scientist behind the drones. Newscasts also play in the cutscenes and during gameplay, giving the player a glimpse into how different media outlets portray events.

I didn't wait a year to publish this just so it could line up exactly with the date. I was actually just really fucking lazy. Apart from some life shit, most of the year was me being unmotivated and unable to get off my ass. This video was uploaded immediately after export; I finished it on September 3. Sincerest apologies for the year-long delay.
I like how the Eruseans never went near North point at all.

What I don't get is Mobius' markings say he's from North Point in VR, but North Point isn't apart of the IUN.

Plot Twist: The Circum-Pacific War and the Lighthouse War were meant to be a death sentence to the whole world by Belka. All of them ungrateful humans, that took everything from them, have been ordered to feel their loss and despair. Luckily, Blaze and Trigger stopped those weapons of mass destruction from destroying the world, by taking them down.
This is beautiful, so much detail in such a large map.

On May 15, 2019, at 13:00 Oured Time, the Kingdom of Erusea declared war on the Osean Federation, enemy forces launched their aircraft targeting several naval ports across the country. On September 19, Osea used ground forces to capture the Erusean capital of Farbanti, plunging the country into a civil war between conservatives (pacifists) and radicals (militarists) in Anchorhead Bay, but on Halloween (October 31), the militarist radical rebels agreed to surrender to a coalition of pacifist Erusean and democratic Osean special forces, then ended the war the next day. On Christmas Day (December 25), both sides agreed to sign the Treaty of Farbanti to normalize relations.

Wouldnt the entire contenent be under osean/erusian coalition forces?
Schroeder mentioned numerous uprisings, and I would think they wouldn't have allowed the coalition force back in. However, there's no information I can find on that, so I just work off what I believe was most likely.
