I got this kit as one of my first model kits for almost 16 years (I used to build quite a bit of Zoids when I was young, but not much of a Gundam fans so I don't build a lot aside from a few from friends). The kit is amazing, extremely details but also shockingly posable, and not to mention the kit is very reasonably priced too (got mine for around 110usd). Its an 10/10 for me, with the only complaint being yolopark only made 2 kits in this line, other being Optimus (which I plan to pick up later on). I really wish they made more model like Starscream and Soundwave (especially Soundwave). Other then that, fantastic kit.

$110? That’s insane! I’ve seen some at $120 + $70 shipping. Where did you buy from?
I got mine from Gunpla.co.uk. They have a lot of cheap model kits and with £20 flat rate international shipping for packages under 2kg.
the reason why they did a shockwave model kit is because it shared allot of parts with the optimus prime kit, that allows them to cut costs greatly

Interesting he shares some design elements with Optimus
A lot of the design under the hood is taken from the Optimus, like the legs spine and joints, just some differences in the aesthetics and obvious parts.

Is this supposed to be painted or no and does it come with any stickers?
Like a lot of snap build kits it is designed so that it doesn't need painting, but it can be. It comes with 4 stickers. 2 Decepticon and 2 Autobot symbols.
@@OMechanicumoh? Where do the stickers go. I’m assuming they don’t go in it because where would the Autobot symbols go?
@@Bane2TuffAtBall Just on his right forearm and chest. Depending on which part of Shockwave's story you would use Autobot or Decepticon. He was a spy for the Decepticons initially posing as an Autobot.
