All Band Maid members smile and have fun every time they live perform! It is amazing band! And by the way their drummer ( Akane ) not only the best drummer, she is also the happiest person in the world! She always smiles!
They bring so much joy to their music, their fans, its so much better than the old school "attitude" some band shad, that we the fans were lucky that they even showed up. Your first Band Maid with vocals is on ...Saiki's birthday ( she's 30 today ). Yes the dual vocals are incredible, both singers are excellent in their own ways. Welcome aboard- only 130+ perfect compositions to go. Here;s the kicker- ZERO clinkers, impossible yet true.
Lovebites are amazing. BabyMetal are a joy. But Band Maid just make me smile. They're the best band in the world today. Maybe checkout Trident too. These young ladies rock.
Rock is not dead..It Lives in Japan nowadays 🤘 Btw..don’t waste your time to Babymetal, they are industry product, not a Real thing..try Nemophila instead..you won’t regret 😉🤘❤️
This was Akane's first, and a while, her only full Drum Solo. And, it's a BAND-MAID tradition to gather around her drum set and make funny faces, so she'll laugh and f*ck up the hard part. It hasn't happened yet, but they keep trying. There are a few songs where Saiki will trade verses with Miku. And Miku does have some songs where she sings by herself like 'Rock In Me' and 'Sayonakidori'. You should definitely check them out.
Yup, pretty much EVERY japanese or Korean roup, or band, will be having fun on stage, even if the songs about ripping throats out they'll be smiling and fooling around - abou the only time I've seen SAIKI get angry is in "Hate" - oh, and sad in "The Dragon Cries".
Yeah dude, you done stepped in it now. These ladies have 8 albums with 125+ tracks of sheer goodness. Their latest single "Shambles" is a great place to go next.
Let me introduce you to another great female Japanese Band. SCANDAL! They are not the same genre as band-maid and Lovebites. SCANDAL are primarily a Pop-Rock/Pop-Punk band though they do experiment with their sound a lot. They also just recently (back in August ) been awarded the Guinness World record for longest running all female Rock Band with the same continuous line up of band members ( 17 years and counting ) .. Here is a live performance of their song Scandal Baby th-cam.com/video/pZvEQA_oYNo/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
Thank you for the wonderful video. It is said that rock music has declined in America. American rock fans used to say that rock was born in America, grew in England, and was perfected in Japan. Currently, there are many rock groups active in Japan. Please enjoy this video of the Japanese rock group that successfully toured across the United States last year. It's so amazing that it's scary!th-cam.com/video/a6gvg9Xg4Ao/w-d-xo.html
@@lurkmerchant Fortunately, we all have our favorites. On Set is not mine and never was. It's too repetitive. From Now On and Daydreaming are my favorite studio songs. Live is a whole other vibe.
Honestly, the fact that a modern group can even cause a debate on a favorite instrumental is amazing. I can't think of anyone these days that even would consider instrumental numbers, let alone multiple.
This was first song I ever heard from the Ladies of Band-Maid. I had seen it recommended to me after my daughter showed me a Baby Metal song which I didn't really enjoy. I figured Band-Maid was more of the same and just kept ignoring it for almost a year. Until one day I boot up my computer, and start loading up TH-cam. I starting watching a video and then my dogs and one of the cats got into a fight in the kitchen. I went a dealt with them and as I came back into my room I was hearing the drum solo and thinking "that sounds great". I came back in and watched the rest of the video, then I restarted it and watched it again about 5 more times. Over in the recommended was their song Onset. I watched that and I was HOOKED! I found them because I forgot to turn off autoplay, and I'm KICKING MYSELF, because I could have been involved with their music a year previously. I have seen them live once and I intend to see them live as many times as I can. Now if you REALLY want to see some fantastic music, check out in this order. "Play" and then "Domination" That is the order they performed during their Line Cube Shibuya concert, being the 21st and 22nd songs out of 23 songs they played. The energy level they had, was the same from start to finish. And watching those two videos, you wouldn't be able to tell they had been playing for 2 hours already.
What you just watched? The answer is simple: Greatness or the queens of Hard Rock. 🤭🤘🏻 Freedom was something like the unofficial anthem of these ladies for a long time. Not too light or too heavy and just a good time for those on stage and for the crowd. However, it seems that this song has now been replaced by 'No God', whose live version on their channel I can only warmly recommend. :) I heard right at the beginning that you like instrumentals, right? Well, then put the trio 'Asterism' with their MV for 'Rising Moon' on your list of recommendations! :) I'll just say this much, the guitarist was 15 or 16 at the time, and some have already guessed that she must be the Japanese granddaughter of Steve Vai. So it wouldn't hurt to buckle up. 😇🔥✌🏻 _____________________ _"America invented rock. England improved it. Band Maid, Lovebites, BabyMetal; the trifecta of Japanese rock. Hard rock, heavy metal, droptuned metal theater…all your bases are covered. Three completely different musical styles. The smiles of the Maids are genuine. And that carries over into the audience. I’ve been there. It was the most fun I’ve ever had at a concert. And I’ve been going to concerts since the seventies. If I could encourage you to see any other performance? Hands down, “Don’t You Tell Me,” Live from Zepp Tokyo 2018. What a great song!
Kanami's solos and compositions are all about feeling, that's what makes her such a great guitarist. Those feelings are amplified by Saiki and MISA. Powered by Akani who can't help but make me smile in every dam video. Miku just melts my heart.
Strap in buttercup. 120+ vids and tons of YT views.. Bass and drums? Yeah that one is "good" but manners, shambles, corallium, and no God will kick you in the face Both singers interchange in earlier songs and miku has her own songs she sings to give saiki vocal breaks....most live shows are 20+ songs and their 10th anniversary final in Nov was 32 songs and 3+ hrs long
Great reaction. "Freedom" is one of their live anthems, along with "Play", "Domination", & "Real Existence". Stick to their official live videos, but there are some live versions recorded by fans that are decent. The Maids are the best, especially live. There are many good performances of Freedom, but this is the best, mainly because of Akane's drum solo.
Freedom is one of those songs that's always in the setlist even though it wasn't written by Kanami-san. It's because she and MISA-san aren't tied to their pedal board so they can move around.
This is just a straight-out happy song. The drummer's huge grin as she plays her solo says it all -- they are having fun, and they are sharing their fun with us.
Happy birthday dear Saiki!
Happy birthday Sai-chan, Sai-chan, Sai-chan. I think Doc has put himself in a packing crate to ship to Saiki.🤷♂️
🎂🎂
Happy birthday gorgeous Sai-chan!

So you like On Set? That is nothing compared to their latest instrumental, From Now On!
From now on is definitely more technical, but Onset has different vibe that other 3 don't. I love all their instrumentals but Onset is still my fav.
