OYO bought this property in late 2020 and operated it until 2022. They were the last owners, however they never changed the legacy inn signing. They were the ones that renovated some rooms but the building got condemned mid renovation so they were forced to close.
I stayed there many times from 2010-2017. Was a nice place back then but it was declining. There was a weird cat lady that always sat outside with the door wide open
Your exploration videos help me fall asleep at night, but holy smokes this one gave me deja vu! We live near here and hit up the KFC next door often. I've always wondered what this place looked like beyond the closed road. Thanks for solving the mystery for me 🤝
Looks like it was a nice cozy place at one time and they were trying to make it one again. Imagine going there on Halloween especially with the moon and the black syrup swimming pool, creepy 😳 Awesome one as usual👍
@@WallieB26 yes and unfortunately old retro style buildings of any kind are disappearing from sight .but they are being preserved on film so we all can enjoy memories like this to have to keep thank you.🤘
Ayyy! The hotel Bibles. I always wondered how many abandoned motels/hotels would have those. I love to play find-it with those if I stay in operating hotels/motels/inns because it's something that's relatively common to find, but not guaranteed, and where it's placed sometimes varies. Sad to me how there's graffiti implying debauchery while there's hotel Bibles pretty much right there. Makes me wonder if they did that stuff in view of those Bibles on purpose.
At 39:09 is vintage Knights Inn wallpaper, when we stayed in a Knights Inn in the late 1980s the whole room had castle themed wallpaper, plus the stained woodwork that was in some of the rooms is also vintage Knights Inn decor. I have a 1991 Knights Inn hotel directory, and this location was a Knight Inn in 1991. The Best Inns rubbish receptacle looks like 1970s or older what a find! Knight Inns rooms were ornate back in the day. The hotel was constructed sometime between 1974 and 1981. According to the Historic aerials viewer web site.
Wow.. this was a crazy one. Already found out where this is too. The amount of stuff still left over is insane yet doesn’t even surprise me. Definitely creepy at night! There’s a recently closed hotel near us that’s built the exact way as this too.
Yes, I do enjoy watching all of your content on your TH-cam Channel. Though, I like the abandoned videos the best. This was a great exploration. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 You mentioned that abandoned hotel was once a Motel 6. I did stay in a Motel 6 once. Seriously. When I checked out of the Motel 6, I did thank them for leaving the light on for me. LOL
I have one but given the majority of the exploration was outside and most rooms/buildings with broken windows and wide open doors didn't really make it seem like a necessity for this one.
I was at the signal hill mall car show today and i took a look through the front entrance and it is insanity in the whole mall the JCPenney wing is being gutted the mirror and sign has been taken off the JCPenney the gate has been taken off the peebles and JCPenney the belk wing from what I could tell has been stripped down to the studs and is dark as hell the concrete planters on the fountain has been removed and it is just f$@/ing crazy
Oh fun the best is your exploring videos. How come smoke detector batteries seem to last and last in places like these but usually don't otherwise? Must be Murphy and his dumb law lol:)
Y'know its always a good day when wallie uploads 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
I can't believe that one room was pristine 😮
I always get happy whenever I see a new wallie abandoned video!

Wow! Thanks for the info!
Unlike motel 6 they didn't leave the light on for you to come to explore it wallie B 26
We love videos like this. Thank you! Glad you were able to explore this place. Thank you for sharing with all of us.
Nice exploring Creepy an abandoned legacy inn suites in the dark of the night inside bunch of crap stuff you don't need to know.

Must be nice checking out different abandoned places with your friends on a nice night
It definitely was. This was a nice surprise!
Awesome video I'd love to see more of these abandoned motels
Anytime i see wallie in these videos im paranoid he'll run into someone staying in 1 of those rooms 🫣🫣
Thankfully it hasn't happened. I hope it never does!
@@WallieB26 me too 😂🤣
Awesome Wall
I love these kind of explorations. It’s an adventure! You’ll never know what you find. Great find dude.
Thank you!
Nice job Wallie! It’s pretty cool when you explore the inside of abandoned places!
That’s cool
Great work as usual Wallie 👏
love it 👍
The letters and numbers were for the marque to the hotel! Cool find!!!
Nice " Found Footage " vibe 👌.

Another awesome abandoned video! Nice! Quite a place!
Creepy place. I get disappointed that no one ever donates items before places get this bad! We live in a very wasteful society 😢
Well it looked like all the beds we're still in every room
Awesome 👌 ❤video
27:53 The gangs all here! All stuffed animals sitting in a row.
I would go try to see it on a day like a Sunday when no work is going on so you can go over the caution tape to have a look
If only that motel could talk all of the stories good and bad it could tell us all.
That's what I often say about places like this!

14:18 holy cats! A toilet in an abandoned building that doesn't have 10lbs of brown in the bottom of it!
rundown hotel
Great video wallie 😊

Anyone else getting Schitt’s Creek vibes? Only 95.5% expecting Johnny to come out from behind the front desk.
I wonder if the owner passed away or they got evicted
I'm not sure.
The tape in the back you didn’t not go over last time

Ghost living there maybe if the rooms could talked.
The mouse trap was probably for the huge roaches you have found the hotel for the dead
Where was this place at?
what a waste, imagine how many temporary or permanent houses this could have been for the homeless

'm thinking the tv was covered to protect it from sawdust, but why install the tv before you are finished renovating.

Wallie, Who's the lady?
A long-time friend of mine who prefers to remain anonymous in the video. 🙂
@@WallieB26 I see.
How come you censor Kayla in this video? I am pretty sure I have seen her in your other videos.
It's not Kayla. A friend of mine I've known for several years who prefers not to have her face on camera.
