@@singlefather01 Sorry but I have a bunch of 18v batteries and many 18v tools from Makita so I will wait. And to be honest the headquarters of Fein/Festool/Metabo/Bosch and Hilti are all in a 180km area where I live. So I don't think the Makita will be more of a disaster than my old Bosch corded Multitool without star lock.

I wanted for many years to get star lock on a Makita now I will just wait until I get it in Germany.

Don’t bother. Their Starlock system is a disaster. Stick to Festool or Fein.
