The only RGG games I played were LJ, and a bit of Like a Dragon.
I do not know who any of these characters are, but even I got emotional.
I should really play the other Yakuza games
Edit: Today is Dec 2 2023 and I heard y’all! I started Yakuza 0 a few days ago. Finished it a few hours ago and I’m about to start chapter 3 of Kiwami 1! 0 was such a fun game. I can’t wait to continue Kiwami
Edit 2: Today is Dec 5 2023 and I finished Kiwami! That was really fun. I always expected Majima to be a serious villain, but he’s just a goof in this game lmaoo
Edit 3: Today is Dec 8 2023 and I finished Kiwami 2! Man, the switch to dragon engine feels incredible. I loved the story, gameplay, Kaoru, Ryuji, everything. I think it’s my favorite Yakuza game so far. It did kinda feel like there were too many things happening in the finale, twist after twist after twist. Great game nonetheless
Edit 4: Today is dec 15 2023. I finished Yakuza 3! I can kinda see how people say you can skip this game, but I mostly disagree. Yeah the combat is annoying, but I enjoyed the story. I really wish the orphanage sections didn’t drag too much though, especially in chapter 10
Edit 5: Today is dec 19 2023, and I finished Yakuza 4. While this game started out fun, it became a chore starting Saejima's chapter.
The only thing interesting about Saejima is the ramen bar scene. For the rest, playing as him was incredibly dull. Awful combat, awful hair, boring scenes, that one weird scene with Haruka, avoiding the cops in Kamurocho, it just wasn't fun. I fell asleep twice while playing as Saejima. It became a bit better with Tanimura, but I wasn't really interested in the plot anymore. Sucks, because again, it started out great with Akiyama.
Hope Yakuza 5 will be a bit better
Edit 6: Today is dec 26 2023, and I ( finally ) finished Yakuza 5.
What can I say. I have a love hate relationship with this game. The story is there, which I enjoyed. But I feel like the execution isn’t. Steam counts 70 hours played, that’s because I fell asleep three times while playing this game. Twice at Saejima and once at Shinada. Particularly, Saejima’s section was very boring until they kidnapped Kitakata, and so was Shinada’s section until chapter 2. I really wanted to enjoy the game, I loved Kiryu’s taxi mission and story part. I enjoyed Haruka and Akiyama’s dynamic. But it really felt like the game dragged and dragged :/
Edit 7: Today is dec 31 2023, and I finished Yakuza 6! Loved this game, and it's probably my favorite Yakuza so far. Combat was great, loved going back to the Dragon Engine.
Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the secret of Onomichi twist. When it was revealed, I laughed, and went: That's it?
Still a great game though. I'm playing Y7 as we speak and loving the story and combat so far
Edit 8: Today is jan 4 2023 and I finished Yakuza: Like a Dragon. What an incredible game. I loved the gameplay, the story, the new characters. I binged the game for 2/3 days and I had so much fun doing it. Even the absurd level skip combined with the boss fight in Omi HQ, and the absurd ohko boss fight at the end couldnt stop me from giving this game a 10/10.
I also immediately booted up Gaiden, and finished that as well! That was fun. I mentioned this to friend and here, but I don't like beat m ups. But when I booted up Gaiden, I was actually... glad to be playing a beat m up again? Story was great, and ending hit just as hard. Thank you all for reading my Yakuza journey, what a great series
We'll be playing Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth soon, and I plan on fully covering that game. If you have any intention to stay unspoiled, I fully recommend going dark on TH-cam and social media for around launch until you finished it.
100% you should!! If you had a time :D
You definitely should whenever you get a chance you will be in for crazy ride
you really should play them
Play 6 at least, there is info about every other kiruy adventure(except 0)
They are orphan that have been adopted by kiryu in Yakuza 3
this was sad but what broke me the most was when Kiryu mentioned how haruto is already four and can already read and write. He sounded like an excited grandfather who can only dream about being there seeing haruto grow
He never got to see Haruka or the other kids grow up from a toddler age... haruto was his only chance 😖😭
Notice he actually tries to share his pride with Hanawa, the only person he can.
Yong yea ruined this game😂
The fact that Haruto drew Kiryu in the middle of that picture also had to give him a sense of comfort, knowing Haruto remembers him
For years, we've known Kiryu Kazuma for the legend he's become as the Dragon of Dojima, that it's easy to forget what it came at the cost of...
This is straight up some of Takaya Kuroda’s best work, the quivering voice, the pain of it yet the underlying happiness. It’s fantastic.
Goat voice acting, so real so emotional
Unlike the garbage yongyea voice
Idk if it's recency bias but I seriously can't think of a better performance as Kiryu than this scene right here.
@@ivanl.8054 off the top of my head 0 and Tachibana’s death is pretty close
@@DMAN99and yakuza 3 rikya'a death
This shows how human Kiryu is, he misses his children more than anything.
You guys have to agree Kiryu EARNED seeing his kids again.
@@Ron_KefferI really hope we somehow get a reunion in Infinite Wealth. There’s just no reason the Daidoji can’t arrange something in secret.
@@Gaminating I mean thats his last game too..
@@Gaminating Except that it confirms he's not dead. Not that I don't think they can't be trusted to keep it a secret.
I cried, I feel like I raised those kids with Kiryu, watching them grow up doing amazing things.
After seeing Yukuza 3 Kiryu raising 9 kids I understand his sadness and joy even more off how much he loves his family and how much he is willing to sacrifice for them.
Same 😢
Same I thought I was being dumb
I cried at the ending for yakuza 6 and I was literally sobbing in this scene, looking at them all grown up felt like seeing my own kids all grown up. Even Haruto, he even remembers Kiryu and he's fuckin 4 now. Holy shit this game was amazing.
I hated Y3 except Mine fight.I still cried for same reason as you
This genuinely broke me. Literally saw the world through Kiryu for a moment, and _lived_ every bit of his anguish.
fuck, i didnt think it would break me as much as it did, but it did just that and more
The second Hand Grandad Proudnes hit so fucking hard with the drawing.
What got me was that haruto actually remembered him, despite being a baby still.
Heck, he even drew him with his deep red shirt on, which was basically Kiryus default outfit in 6. I can totally see them making a grown up haruto later down the road wear red shirts mostly when they decide to bring him into the fold, which feels like a must with his backstory and legacy at this point.
Nah. Haruto coming back into the fold would be kind of a tragedy considering everything Kiryu did to get Haruka and Haruto out of the Yakuza life. At best, he'd come back as a minor side character. Or maybe he'll be more involved with the Judgement/Judge Eyes side of the Franchise.
It's not that Haruto "remembered" him, it's that all of orphans still talk about him and tell stories about him so much, that Haruto was able to draw his idea of him despite never consciously meeting him.
@@EnergyTKthat and probably the picture where Kiryu is with everyone else in Yakuza 3
@@EnergyTK Haruto sees him at the end of 6 and holds a hand towards him. He absolutely remembers him deep down.
This is why the kids were such a focus in Yakuza 3. Emotional payoff has got to be one of this series' greatest strengths.
10:31 after rewatching the end of kiwami 1, these lines really hit so hard. when kiryu lost his father, brother, friends, and the love of his life all in one day, haruka was the only thing keeping him alive. she needed him just as much as he needed her, they still need each other. he's her father. they're his children, his grandson. if the yakuza games do anything well, it's showing so many different relationships and how they come together, how they fall apart, how they change and impact us as humans. how one man's life can mean so much to everyone he meets, even if he only meets them once.
What does this for me is Kiryu is known for his permanent stoic and focused demeanor. We pretty much never see him break it or drop it throughout the years. But now, as an older man and all he's been through, he can't hold it in anymore and finally breaks down crying. All that pent up stress, sorrow and regret is coming out. And tbh it's the manliest thing he's done the entire series. To not be ashamed to finally let his emotions out and admit he misses his kids and chance at a happy life in front of someone
He sort of breakdown when Rikiya die in Y3.
Kitty was in breakdown in held in Kazuya death in Yakuza 1/ Kiwami along with Yumi death
Kiryu's been emotional in the past games too,
-Y1: ending after the millenium tower
-Y3: Rikiya's death
-Y5: Being separated from Haruka
-Y6: being reunited with her
@@icecube9765also in 0 when tachibana dies
@@icecube9765You missed Kazama's death.. That hit kiryu hardest
I can't imagine being in Kiryu's place. Having to think about the kids and how they are doing, not being there to see Haruto grow up. But the kids ended up living good lives. He's sad due to the fact he can't see them, but he's also joyful at the same time knowing they're standing on their own 2 feet.
He definitely broke when Ayako said none of them believed that he was dead. I hope he gets a reunion with his kids in Infinite Wealth
Uh no, he started getting more emotional after when she said “you might be feeling lonely all by yourself”
Nice logic for the Daidoji to think it's ok if a few Yakuza members like Daigo,Majima,Watase and Saejima know Kiryu's not really dead but it's the end of the world if his family knows the truth about him. A simple phonecall with a burner phone would have been enough
I know Kiryu swore an oath to Daodoji, but my bet is: the last wish of Kiryu is see his family again, IF Daodoji refuse, the shit will hit the fan, his friends/old companions will protect the kids and Daodoji will feel the rage of dragon.
Why? Think about the ending, they said: The Dragon of Dojima is a fearsome ally, it'd be unwise to make an enemy out of him.
During the game they keep saying: the dragon is on a leash.
For me, they implied he will break free of this "leash", end Daodoji, see his family again and maybe die in peace because of cancer.
@@shibainu5441 I think he'll be free because in Like A Dragon 8, someone reveals he's alive. So I don't see the Daodoji having a need for him if it's jig is up. Plus, in the trailer he's seen with his traditional suit, so I'm assuming he's gonna be released from the Daodoji regardless.
@@moecgaming Do you think he will be free peacefully? I doubt, because nothing is easy to Kiryu since 0.
Or someone will bargain for his freedom with an extremely high price + some guarantee of their secret.

This is Kuroda’s best bit of acting in the series, easy. Total gutpunch. The “Look at that” at 9:51, ugh, he so desperately wants to share the moment with someone
Definately up there with the Yakuza 0 Nishiki scene
@@Grpeephole That scene ain't shit compared to this.
The motions kill me. Kiryu's little look to his left, followed by that full tilt away from the camera is so painfully real that you forget that this is a virtual piece of media for a second. It's insane just how good motion capture and acting has become.
It is really rare to hear VAs nail that “choking their words and trying to hold back the crying” bits when crying but Kuroda really did get it down perfect, it’s crazy how good he is.
After everything he’s been going through this is one of the most saddest scene I have ever watched
If not the saddest
@@karuminasaddest scene will probably in Y8, Kiryu last swan song
This, Nishiki and Yumi's death and Rikiya's death.
idk why but the part in yakuza 5 where kiryu struggled to stand up while haruka gives her speech about how kiryu is her family got me
I thought they couldn’t make a more emotional ending than 0 or 6. RGG are legends
Bro just imagine what they got in store for us in 8.
@@ericwatters4542 If they show Kyriu dying, and they have at least ONE of the orphans (Haruto), I will become a pool of tears.
Remember when people thought it was something horrible that happened to Kiryu that made him cry this way?
I mean considering the Infinite Wealth trailer, it’s no surprise.
Honestly, they should stop showing a lot of stuff in the trailers.
They should've kept his cancer a secret
Agreed but judging by the trailer, I assume that they're trying to make it a story about acceptance so the cancer thing would be introduced early in@@KingShibe
In a way it is horrible considering his situation
Gaiden is really the best thing that could've ever happend to the series
It's really a love letter for series fans
Yeah, one last journey with just Kiryu before we witness what may very well be the end of his story.

@@OndoginReverse Word dude. No other game has ever made me cry and feel for a character before. We seen Kiryu go through so much, his highs and lows. Kiryu isnt just a video game character. This was a Taichi kick to the heart
The way you see his hands starting to tremble holding the device, his voice quivering, the teardrops forming on the screen, and finally seeing Kiryu crying from being both heartbroken and happy to see how much the kids have grown while he's been away. I've never ugly cried over a game, and this broke me.
Agree. I recommend hellblade senua's sacrifice ending as well. These games story stick.
This is so painful to watch. Kiryu gets to see his kids in Orphanage again. All of them grow up well. Especially Haruka.
Not really. He only saw two of them and that’s the last time he’ll ever see them
@@detectivehan5717Umm he did saw all of them. They appear some of them in different footage but one notice the camera yet. Only they are able to communicate with Kiryu indirectly.
@@dalaxdercrisper957 He didn't see them close enough like he saw Ayako and Taichi though. Wonder if Yuta is still a yakuza cause he was the only one who didn't appear and he could place Haruka and Haruto in danger too if he gets involved in some chickenshit yakuza organisation making Kiryu's sacrifice worthless
I would doubt that he would be back in some yakuza stuff. I would headcanon that Yuta would stay out of it and be a good father for Haruto and I think his buddies would not want to put Kiryu's sacrifice on his personal life to be in vain.

Well in a way they did, in the trailer it was reveal to the world that Kiryu is still alive
@@TheGuywith1Mustachehmm I wonder who revealed that
@@TheGuywith1Mustache Yeah but depends if that information is revealed only to the Yakuza world and if that info gets to Haruka/orphanage kids. Still - Majima,Saejima,Watase and Daigo already know Kiryu is alive and that's pretty much all of the main Yakuza bosses
@@laur6405 it was revealed on the internet, and from a supposed famous V-tuber... as such I believe that someone on Morning Glory will see it
@@laur6405The information is revealed by a Vtuber who does journalist stuff to expose everything to the world at large. So... they're going to know... Sadly, this organization Kiryu is working for will also know and they've made clear what will happen if it gets out.
It hurts to seem him like this
No kidding. After for so long, Kiryu finally to see Haruka and Haruto again. Watching Haruto grow up well and Haruka being a good mother is enough to break Kiryu to emotional state. I wish he could been there to greet them but it's not possible
And now he's got fucking cancer.
“You must have a lot going on too, Uncle Kaz… cause if you were alive, you’d come see us, right?”
The inability to tell the ones you care about how you feel.. that gnawing helpless feeling that Kiryu must’ve been feeling after all this time. Because you know that that’s all that he wants… those he loves to be safe and doing well for themselves.
But the relief as well when he realised that the children he left behind at that orphanage grew up just fine and then the realisation that the children that once needed him the most instead became the thing that he wanted and needed after all this time.
A bittersweet ending for this game - I only hope that with Kiryu’s identity being revealed during Infinite Wealth could mean that he can finally return to the embrace of the orphanage and his children.
Kiryu really deserves that I am not ready for infinite wealth man
God; him being alive and with his family again is all i want.
Just finished the game and damn, what an great experience. This scene became one of my favorites of the franchise, the most realistic crying I've ever seen in a game, you can't help but to cry along with him.
I legit cried at this scene because of how heartbreaking yet sweet is was. When Kiryu started crying I couldn't hold it back anymore lol then when the picture Haruto drew was shown I legit started again this scene its so hard and is nice to know how his kids are doing
Really respect the game for letting Kiryu show some weakness. He's always cared for his kids, and that's always been the human part of his character, but he's also always been a larger than life stoic badass. Seeing him vulnurable after so many years of him weathering basically everything is heartbreaking. Amazing ending and performance
Seeing Kazuma break down after learning about Haruto, and his kids doing well... I couldn't stop myself from crying too...
RGG really saod "had fun? Cool, here the strongest emotional gut punch we could possibly deliver. Now play the demo."
This end cutscene turned this game from an 8/10 entry to a 10/10 entry.
Shishido as final boss, then this cutscene made this game one of the best.
The final chapter paid off hard. One of the best chapters in RGG history.
@@ElStink4K I actually find Shishido's reveal to be disappointing and left me frustrated. I felt the evening of them spending all the money was one of my favorite chapters ever in the series and really really wanted the 3 of them to subvert where I thought it may lead. To hear Shishido say that he wanted his fight with Kiryu and end up his friend was a change of pace for the series. To see it lead to the same type of betrayal we've seen before, left me feeling like I could read the writers mind too easily. Shishido really came across as a changed man that looked up to Kiryu. To see him revert to his earlier character made the party scenes less impactful. Don't get me wrong. Overall the story is a 10/10. It's a minor point that is more my opinion than objective fact.
Give Kuroda an Oscar already, he's been deserving it since Yakuza 3
Was not prepared for that gut punch.

I’m really hoping that in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, Kiryu reunites with all his children one last time cause it pains me to see him like this 😭😭
Especially now that he has cancer
If RGG makes kiryu meet all of his kids again but only on his deathbed I'm not gonna be ready

I can only imagine how Y8 is going to hit us. I can only assume he will get to retire and be with them
The part where it shows Yumi's name is just heartbreaking man.
Hardly a game made me cry. I can remember the ending of Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, which made me emotional. But this was another level. Being a huge Yakuza fan, it's like Kiryu is not just a role model, but also a friend, someone I care about. Seeing him break like that was just too much. Brilliant videogame acting. Kiryu is one of the most human characters of videogame media.
Y0, Y3 , Y6, Y7 and gaiden all will make you cry
I rarely cry but I couldn't help but tear up in front of this scene. It must be one of the most emotional scenes I've ever seen in any video game.
The only bad thing about this scene is that I can never watch it for the first time again and be emotionally obliterated all over again.
I just beat this game last night, and this scene absolutely destroyed me. I've played every game in the series, and seen some highly emotional moments throughout, but this is the one that made me keel over in absolute tears. This game might actually be my favorite in the entire series, at least for the Kiryu story
The ending genuinely made my cry I don’t usually cry at game films etc but seeing kiryu a guy I’ve spent 7 odd games with crying his eyes out and not being able to see his kids just got me
Can't wait to see someone says RGG ruined Kiryu manliness by make him crying
They were saying this not long after Gaiden got revealed
Yeah, apparently men aren’t men if they cry. Bunch of retards they are I say.
Like Kiryu said in the PS2 Yakuza: I admit that I cried, but that doesnt make any less of a man
LMAO I has no idea he had cancer now. 😂😂😂 They can’t give this Man a break.
Anybody can cry if he's not actually empty or evil inside. Kiryu has the strength of a freight train but he has a big heart and that's what Rikiya saw in his final moments too. It's also the same with Kaito - he didn't cry yet and he's always tough and scary to some people but whenever someone was in need he would always be there even if he was still healing from a wound
I haven't cried for almost a year now, no matter what was going on in life i kept a straight face. But this, seeing someone like Kiryu break down, i cried with him. Someone get Kuroda and award for this performance.
A beautiful moment where the "Dragon of Dojima" persona collapses and he is just Kiryu Kazuma.
I never thought they could top Rikiya's death as one of the most emotional scenes in the whole series and I was proven wrong.
The trembling hands and how Kiryu just slowly broke down every time Ayako and Taichi shared how they were doing and how they miss him was too much
Then they showed Haruto's drawing with "oji-san" written on it and that broke me
He sounded so proud when he was talking about Haruto. That "Look at him" is so damn powerful. He's so happy that his family is safe and still growing up that he can't put into words how much this drawing meant to him. Showing it off to Hanawa, even though Hanawa probably doesn't care too much about the kids, Kiryu still showed off the drawing because he just wants to express his love and pride in his grandson. Fuck, man, I hope Kiryu gets a good peaceful ending at the end of 8. the Dragon of Dojima has fought long enough, let him rest.
Through the whole series, we rarely see Kiryu cry. He's taken it upon himself to be the stoic protector of his children and everyone who he cares about. No matter how much he suffers, he puts on a strong face. As long as he stands tall, he knows his family can feel safe.
But now Kiryu has killed his name, and Joryu can finally vent all those emotions. He cries not only for all that he has lost, but for all the good he brought into the world and seeing that the kids he cares so much about will be fine thanks to all he has taught them. Kiryu can rest easy knowing that he has passed on his heart of gold to all of his kids.
This scene is perfection.
Probably one of the best Kiryu scenes ever. It's finally seeing all of his bottled up emotions come pouring out. I hope we see more of Kiryu and Hanawa.
RGG Studio out here showing us this, and then making us play the next game with a cancer-ridden Kiryu.
I think one of two things will happen: He'll pass away but will spend his last moment with the kids. The other is he'll get the treatment but will be limited and weak. He'll spend time with Haruka while recovering but he will retire. Either way, he'll be happy.
@@moecgamingI don’t think they’ll kill him off in lad8 but later on? Maybe
The scene with Kiryu in the church is when it really hits you how long you’ve been following his story and life.
So interesting enough, Hanawa saying he knew of Kiryu's fake name from Yakuza 5 implies he knew him. And sure enough the voice actor for Hanawa is the same as Yu Morinaga, Daigo's bodyguard alongside Aizawa in Yakuza 5
Morinaga died off screen so this could really be him. He does look a bit different but maybe he had some facial reconstruction to hide his identity better.
Considering the shady shit the organization does and the situation he'd be put into by Aizawa I don't think it's much of a reach.

Takaya Kuroda is talented asf man
It’s very emotional when you play trough all the games and see them grow up, you get put into kiryu’s shoes at that point
I started this great series with Yakuza Song of Life. The makers developed kiryu's character into countless emotions. His fiercy side, his soulfulness even his quiteness when he had a lot to share or need to tell. In this scene he is crying like a child directly from heart the moment when he said it feels like he needs them (Kids from the morning glory) the most. How a person who have nothing to lose yet have a brother not tied with blood, raised by a person who killed his parents but in the end forgive that very person for raising him. Carrying his legacy in his own style develops his charisma, character through the challanges faced by him over the years and ultimately getting to the title of Dragon of Dojima. Left the chairman title on the very next day. Faked his own death for his loved ones so that they could live a peacful life without going through which he had gone through And now the time comes as every legacy has to move on. Ichiban was very hard to believe as a new main character in Yakuza line but has won the audience through many common qualities that kiryu has. Waiting for Yakuza Infinite wealth release, as its revealed in the trailer that kiryu is suffering from cancer and he wishes ichiban to carry his legacy. I played all parts of yakuza this game gives very strong messages from its story telling not just from the Kiryu's perspective but all characters. The one which i liked the most is there is always good in a bad person and vice versa. Its how you choose to face circumstances. I hope makers would show all the kids from morning glory at least once with kiryu if they had to bid a goodbye to this Legendary character.
It's so hard watching characters who are always a pillar of strength, always so damn tough, finally break down. Poor Kiryu has suffered so so much. Fists, bullets, blades, he shrugs them all off. But seeing the kids growing up, standing on their own, knowing he can't see them do so with his own eyes....that pain is too much for him, and here we finally see what truly wounds the Dragon...
Kiryu emotional over the drawing of Haruto hits, Especially knowing that Kiryu took care of him during the events of 6, and never was able to see Haruto grow up.
Played from Yakuza 0 right through to gaiden.
This is the most powerful scene I've experienced in any game or film.
Its been like 5 months since this game came out and i still tear up over this scene
After playing these games for well over a decade, and getting to know all the orphans, my favorite being Taichi, this scene hit HARD.....definitely got me emotional hahaha
Had to rewatch this scene and ended up bawling like a bitch again.
10:35 This part really got me. My mom always wants to see his family in other provinces, but she never can and always is so sad about it. This touch me SO much
RGG are masters at pulling at our heart strings. I never thought id cry after the ending of 7
Finished this game a few weeks ago and I think everyone in my house heard me crying along with Kiryu
Kids in games mean so much to both the protag and the player when done right and Yakuza done so well with the morning glory kids
I was sobbing the whole time with Kiryu and hearing what Kiryu says about Haruto made me cry even more he missed out on mile stones of his Grandsons first steps in life yet knowing that he sounded so happy and proud of what his kids had become
(Was real sad that Mitsuo never got into the profession of baseball but that could be because of what happened a few games before)
this is enough to make a grown man cry
Western writters can learn A LOT from the japanese, this is how you write a "vulnerable male lead".
Western male character would just be a dummy who cries when he stubs his toe.
Kiryu is a true man's man: badass who can fight, honorable, and love his friends and family.
They had 7 games to flesh out Kiryu
@@theequalizer694 Game 1 already showed us.
Though if you've played game 6(0), it would hit harder.
For someone whose name is so big and significant in the Yakuza underworld, Kiryu looked so small, fragile and vulnerable when he was crying, watching the video of his children.
lt's really nice hearing Kuroda's range. His crying is so convincing that it made sob.
the sobbing scene is just incredible, I cried with Kyriu.. the producer and the animator deserves all the praise of the world. it felt so tangible, so real....
I just finished it myself, and im not one who shows emotion or cry's etc. but having played through each yakuza game up to now, I've seen all of kiryu's story/life. and my god I was tearing up when kiryu was getting more and more visibly emotional and eventually balling his eyes out. Great game, cant wait for the next one
Same ( show little emotions), this and hellblade got me😭. Games that you'll never forget
Kiryu kazuma you have finished your journey. You can rest now
"Guess I needed them more than they ever needed me"
watching this just makes me want to see Kiryu have a happy ending in Infinite wealth, He has suffered so much, Lost so many people close to him, Had to leave the only family he knew behind, I think he deserves a Little peace.
I finished the game today and was screensharing it for a friend because they wanted to watch. I was bawling my eyes out while he having not much Yakuza context other than playing a bit of 0 he felt everything the VA said and was sad despite having to little context. I didn't expect this game to break me the way it did.
When the guy just put the yumi ring.
Dear god that one is a genuinely got me.
What finally hit me is that this might be the last game we can play as Kiryu as his story is coming to an end. Been playing Yakuza games since ps2 era and playing as Kiryu in all those games it really makes me sad that he won't be in the future installment, but he deserve his break after everything he has been through.
Imagine just what they're gonna put him (and us) through in Infinite Wealth
I don't remember I ever cried because of a videogame but damn, I couldn't help it. Cried along side with Kiryu this time.
15:35 He's saying "So long" to us too.
15:10 Leon Kennedy's blood is running through Taichi's vein.
Recently, I finished this game. And when this scene started playing, I immediately knew what kind of reaction Kiryu would be feeling, I was in tears before he was. This video means more than living to him. He has not been forgotten and he misses them sorely. A beautiful scene. Truly bliss.
When someone says a game can’t make you cry this is my weapon 🥺
Everybody Gangsta till this Cutscene appears on the screen
I am incapable of crying. Yet this hits hard.
I just came here to tell you all that i cried like baby, and i will cry everytime i see this scene.
Kiryu chan deserves all the good things in life.
I cried
The feelings were just too strong..
What a beautiful franchise
THE ENDING HITS ME HARD 😭😭😭, What a journey. From starting playing Yakuza 0 on 2020 until now with Like a Dragon Gaiden 🥺
Can't wait for Infinite Wealth 🥺
No amount of Staminan Royales can mend my broken heart after watching this
I wish I could tell Takaya Kuroda how much his performance here wrecked me.
I'm a grown ass man and this scene had me bawling during my playthrough 😭
this video on my ipad... it makes me want to cry..... dame da dammit...
