Hi, my naem is Ling. I donno how to say how greatful me is.... I mean,
I can’t express how grateful I am to be in this short! ♡ The entire (very young yet dedicated) JinnyboyTV production team was so fun and comfortable to work with, not forgetting my multitalented co-actor Nick Davis. And Awwhh, it’s so heartwarming reading all the comments - Thank you! Thank you! (though I’m only a small part of this ‘masterpiece’ some of you called it)

Came back here again after months when i first saw the short film when it was released. Trust me its probably one of the best ever short storyline i have ever seen. You should probably make a sequel if you can. We’ll 100% love it and support you guys. The story feels so real I can’t even express how good it is💜

I'm watching it again after a year and it still feels so beautiful. Feels like I somewhere got connected with this video and rewatching it is bringing me closer to my past self who was struggling too but never lost hope.

how often? don't know. last time I saw them, 1 and half years ago while they came to visit me and my son(or merely their grandchild).
I haven't seen my little sister for ages😭, last time I seen her was 2016 when it's her birthday

A really beautiful film. From each gorgeous cinematic shot to how the actors really brought out the emotions. I love how subtly the theme was being built with a very simplistic kind of mystery wrapped up in the foreboding. The video recording of the teacher at the end really brought together the touching story. Makes me want to be there and enjoy the places Ling is showing around.
I'm so glad I came across this beautiful short film though a year later! The story was so wonderfully woven with the scenic beauty of the place and the actors were just amazing! Loved the film😇

character seems a little slutty or gentle way - throwing over herself too much which in real life don’t really happen all the time, unless drunk in a night club?
Jacky Phantom its the character’s personality , i didnt mention anything about the slang or accent. anyways its just my 2cents abt this short film and storyboard.
I’m kind of agreed with the logic of some scenes and storyline are a bit off compared in reality. Yet if the female lead is not that enthu, no way this short film was able to be produced. And it’s quite uncommon for the character being able to comprehend what the banana telling her in whole lots of conversations, yet it’s a fake story, so I assume she’s very talented in English language, somewhat gifted😂😂Same applied to the fake banana
- She's so enthusiastic because she already knows him from the mother. She is eager to bring him to all the places the mother wanted him to see.
- There are many Malaysians who understand a certain language but can't speak it well. If you notice their conversations, they don't fully understand the whole thing of what the other person says but tend to pick up key words which they understand.
Life is not all about going from point A to point B. Sometimes, we need to stand still and admire the view. This is the sad truth of life, we live as if all our love ones are immortal. We treasure them when they becomes our memory.

Oh I suddenly found this short film, TH-cam recommended it to me. At first time I saw, I was attracted by the thumbnail and the name, so I clicked to watch it and now I have felt in love with the story and the message inside it ❤ It made me cry a lot. Btw, love the picturesque landscape. Thank you for this meaningful film❤
THANKS TO THE WHOLE PRODUCTION. This is a perfect short film for young people. I asked my students to relate this to their lesson in Philosophy, how Aristotle's seen the "Reality" using senses. Our sense perception is enough to bring back memories and waking up our minds and hearts.

If we consider life only as a way from one point to another, there wouldn't be those beautiful moments when we are relaxed and just spending time together. yeah. That's easy for you to say retrospectively. He came for a specific purpose and was pressed for time. She offered to take him to the place, but brought them on a wild goose chase, without telling him why she did that. Anyone in those circumstances would be pissed.
All the sceneries of this short flim was so amazing and the last scene was the best.
This hits me for home. I left Malaysia 18 years ago when I was 12 years old for America and haven't been home since. Haven't seen my family since. Definitely miss it. Unique short story, definitely love it!

I was in Kota Damansara for 3 years, I spoke perfect Malaysian English then, even locals couldn't recognize I wasn't Malaysian. The day I left Malaysia, the accent left me, but every time I heard somebody spoke Malaysian English, my accent came back immediately. How weird.
