Hann is a 35-year old school teacher who is painfully single. Why dont more Malaysian drama has this level of quality? The cinematography, the bgm, the script, actors and actresses, mix of ethnic representations, and solid theme thats closer to audience

I was on Coffee Meets Bagel and met my boyfriend on the app. The first time we met, he talked about Love at First Swipe (which I hadn't watched at the time). He said that the intention of looking for a relationship made things clear on the app and that Love at First Swipe really highlighted it. The next day, I watched Love at First Swipe and felt so touched by this series. It was very relatable, fun, romantic and bittersweet. It also turned into the stepping stone for me and my boyfriend to meet for a second date and later... our first relationship. We were each other first relationship and while I thought we'd be our last too; things never turn out the way you imagine it to be. He broke up with me after 6 months... yet here I am holding on to every memory we had.
I know I'm too late to say this but you'll also find a person who is right for you. Sometimes some people aren't meant for each other.
Be strong and have little faith. Everything will alright one day. Just keep hope ☺️

I don't know whether JinnyboyTV will notice what I am writing right now, but I am writing this from the chore of my heart.. I haven't finished watching all episodes of LOVE AT FIRST SWIPE yet. But I just couldn't resist to write, because till now whatever I watched in these episodes, I am so overwhelmed, don't know how to appreciate. All characters are so realistic and just touched my heart. Hats off to the script writer and the protagonists👍👍. I could relate myself with every dialogue. This series is totally a package filled with emotions, our misconception about technology, acceptance to it. It gives us another point of view to look the outside world and to look inside ourselves, highly philosophical yet so modernized, so interesting... I am so touched👏👏👏👏👏

I really love this episode cuz it captured the p.o.v of Hann who's still stuck in the traditional ways of finding love and is filled with so many questions on how the modern dating world works and we have on the other hand,Jess who has already been in the dating world for quite some time to find the real deal.They acted out well and I love the plot of the story,can't wait to see what's in store for Episode 2

im only at the first minute of this video and omg, im getting strong yasmin ahmad vibes from this. its soo nice to see really good short drama's like this, with values and all. i love how the setting, characters, culture, scenes and everything is a.c.t.u.a.l.l.y relatable ya know? despite how the whole "times and generation have changed" thing that we're going through in this era, but like, to have someone create something, thats relevant and relatable to the major part of the society, that it evokes some sort of emotion, thats a great win to you guys. so many 60 minute shows and dramas on the tv lack the quality that you guys were able to give in 28 minutes. this is wonderful guys.

I have to disagree with some of the points made by Jess in the video. Jess believes that everyone on the dating app is seeking a relationship and thus everyone's intentions are clear. This could not be further from the truth in real life. Many people on these kind of apps already have a relationship and are playing around, or simply looking for hook ups, regardless of whether they say it or not on their profile. I hope its something they address in the second episode. Anyways, I found the show to be well made, and enjoyable- This is modern dating after all. Malaysian English is quite unique too
The point is to put the two opposites against each other. What you're saying is entirely correct, but it wouldn't exactly make a drama any good. Someone like me is absolutely horrible for drama, as I'm way too logical and strait-laced, unless an opposite is put up against me. It's not a matter of right or wrong, but contrast. In fact, even though I am logical and strait-laced doesn't mean I am always correct. It is merely the process of thinking that differs, and one can reach the wrong conclusion depending on circumstances.
One can assume that everyone who uses an app like this is interested in people, one way or another. If comparing it to fishing, your profile is the bait, the match is when the fish is hooked, and then you need to reel it in and eventually catch it. Sometimes your line breaks, sometimes the fish lets go, sometimes you catch the fish, but decide to let it go. It's not that different, but the method differs. Some of the people you've mentioned are ones who do "catch and release" while some only look for that one big monster fish, and then there are those who are happy with whatever they catch and keep it.
Regardless, everybody has a goal that is related to a relationship, but yes, some merely want the thrill of catching and just drops you back into the water once they have succeeded.
