    Wyoming is a very sparsely populated state. I drove thru the state and I got a feeling of loneliness as I was driving across.

    made the trip from WY to CA with part of it on I90, and the roads from Gillette to around Billings weren't all that bad, they managed to get some ice put down on the roads but west of Billings, there definitely moments where I felt a bit of slipping, there was also a bunch of snow blowing across the road as well. Got really bad soon as we got to the mountains between Idaho and Montana. It was only once we reached the southern part of California where I felt safe driving at a higher speed

      It's a totally different world the climate is more extreme. Roads not maintained as well, very icy. Wind is severe.

      Yes!! It's very isolated and low population. The wind and dry open areas are inhospitable and little water. Your best bet is to stick to the western part of the state or near any forests and mountains are a better place to be.

      Very cool I miss South Dakota, it's a lot different then the East. One of my new favorite places can't wait to go back. I am considering moving there. I Stayed around the Black Hills - Rapid City Deadwood and Spearfish. Also spent a night in Chamberlain got stranded there in a blizzard.

      Speed limits are 80 in most of the Western states and Dakotas. You won't want to take a bike out in the winter, too much ice. They don't salt or sand the roads out there.

    • @NYPrepper
      @NYPrepper  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I loved driving on the roads when there was no ice, they are straight and you can go fast.

    Reservations are definitely dangerous to outsiders. I have family in a couple

    • @NYPrepper
      @NYPrepper  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh really? No kidding. Well I heard too that they are even more dangerous to people in the reservations. I read that theres a lot of people in them that fall victim to human trafficking. It's really sad.
