- Quick 10 tips guide to the Vampire Counts for those who want to get better but not watch a long guide!
Tips:
1. Have 2 armies for each enemy army or use ambushes
2. Losing units is not a bad thing because of resurrection chance
3. Tech really helps your units in battle
4. Spread corruption as much as you can!
5. Grave Guards and a healing necromancer can handle most problems
6. Lords and heroes are key to winning and are very strong
7. Get blood kisses asap with assassins
8. Replenishment is very important for sustained offense, beware flame though!
9. Use the immortal bloodline lords over normal ones
10. Charge faction without many ranged units means clever plans are needed

This was very helpful. Honestly, i got carried through the campaign by those giant mohawk bats. I just kept spamming them, and it just kept working.

@LordForwind im a day 1 game 1 player an loved the vamps just so spoilt for choice now crazy enough they are the second last race for me to beat the game with currently doing beastman an than I can do a vlad legendary for my final race completion

Yeah im a game 1 day one player an the vamps just hit different campaigns with them are just to damn fun
My favorite strategy with Vlad and Isabella, is to kill Zhufbar or Azhag. Then give those mountain territories to Ungrim for an alliance.nothing like a horde of nearly unkillable zombies making a wall for 4 grudge throwers.

Or just get play with helman ghost and go with the Zombie doomsack

I got another tip. In your late game when you are rich, make a change in your army. Field a dommstack of Blood Knights and you will absolutely destroy your enemies. Just rush the enemy army with your elite heavy cavalry in a full scale charge. That’s so much fun.
Yeah, I don't think my dynasty unlocked them though
It's kinda dumb and counter intuitive that you get blood kisses using banshees and not, you know, vampires lmao
It's such an easy fix too, just give assault to the banshee and assassinate to the vampire hero. It's also a cool decision since vampire heroes make armies much better, you have to make a choice between fighting better and farming more blood kisses.
Another thing, they should definitely make vassalization easier. Right now, it's basically impossible to vassalize anyone, especially as VC.
yeah its really odd. I have yet to find a game that makes vassals work well. The closest is tribal client states in CK3 which leave after the death of your ruler. All other vassal systems make it almost impossible for vassals to leave peacefully
Ok fine!!! Ill play a new legendary vlad campaign. 😅 still right up there with my favourite races even since game one. I am a dark elf main IRL but by god the vamps are just too much fun
They really are fun, but most people hate them...
Not bad at all. I'd add that the Blood Knights are arguably the best all-purpose cavalry in the game once they get The Hunger. Sure, they are no match for Grail Knights in hammer charging or Grail Guardians for tanking, but Blood Knights are absolute terrors when the loose on in the field for slamming into already engaged enemies flank/rear, and the hunger makes them VERY hard to kill.
Yeah level 9 ones are amazing.
Why was the weapon strength on Mannfred and Kevin so low?
No idea, they have lower DMG I think because they heal
@@LordForwind Did you load the game in a non Ultra unit size? Their base weapon strength is basically double on Ultra.

At my last game, i didnt do any hero building before like turn 40 , i got some necromancer building and 1 vampire building that's all at turn 77. The reason was that I would rather spal skeletons spams and conquer everything around me and do building once im super rich but now its quite late, and i wonder if its better to rush the heroes building, what are your thoughts? Because they cost like 10 000 dark magic
Well the heroes are going to be better at higher difficulty and they get you blood kisses and thus immortal lords, since vampires really rely on OP lords I would say get heroes, specifically banshees!

i have a question, is there a way to resurrect dead legendary hero? While playing as Heinrich Kemmler I confederated Vlad, in a few turns he died with Isabela in his army. Vlad was good to go shortly after, but Isabela truly died.
They patched that this patch, it was a bug and shouldnt of happened!
