    I miss Fayetteville… at least Rockingham is awesome again.
    This video gives me some more motivation to get my Corvette going again. Hoping for 10’s in my cam-only C5.

      10s is definitely possible. When hunting for a time it's all about the short track time.

      @@andrewd843 Absolutely. A decent converter and gears should get me there!

      Thanks! I wish I would of got more runs, but once I was in the zone I even took the gopros off the car since they were bothering me. But where I had one setup it ended up not recording right with how the frame rate is.

      This is how it always goes. A few years ago, in my srt4, I kept running 12.1 12.0 12.0 12.0, then finally clicked off an 11.8 pass

    damn, thats crazy what the tire size difference makes, great video!

      Thanks! With long 2.56 gears, the shorter tire definitely helps. All about how fast you can get into that power.

    Great video! Thanks for posting. Question… what is that slight stumble in the middle of second gear, converter locking?

    • @andrewd843
      @andrewd843  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, that's the converter lock

      @@andrewd843 lol. If you try to leave any harder does it push through or try to spin? See you just need to move back this way you have a lot of ppl around here you know lol

    • @andrewd843
      @andrewd843  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @89_boostedsupra it's been talked about with the wife for sure. Even if I just move to the other side of Fort bragg, it'll cut an hour of my drive.
      It seemed to launch best at 2000rpm, around 3000 it would push, under 2000 it didn't flash harder. But it didn't spin at all or try to. I did, however, find a vacuum leak. I thought I had one, but the car ran good, so I didn't give it much thought.
      So I'll have one more outing before I have surgery this month. Hopefully, a little better weather and no vac leak will help me out some.

    • @andrewd843
      @andrewd843  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Each gear and rpm were different rpm for the first few passes. I think I was going to 7600-7700 this day. If you check out my dyno video I posted last week, I ended up revving it even higher.
