@@BaptistJoshua Actually it can't happen at any time! This is NOT a mockery of my Lords coming, because he WILL come, but Jesus said to not be deceived because this will NOT occur until 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 verses 3-4. The falling away AND the son of perdition is revealed.
Jesus himself tells us in Matthew 24 things to look for that will be called the "beginning of sorrows" and what to expect during these times in the tribulation and to keep an eye on the abomination of desolation because when that occurs the Great Tribulation begins per Jesus in Matthew in chapter 24 verses 15 - 21.
then the persecution of saints by the anti Christ verse 21- 22 but by the grace of God and his mercy he will shorten the days for the "elects sake" ( believers in Christ)
then Jesus tells us further down in the same chapter that immediately after the tribulation of those days the signs of the heavens...sun darkened, moon not giving her light, heavens shaking.... THEN verses 30 - 31 our King comes for us in the clouds and sends his angels to the 4 winds to collect the believers.
If you say Jesus can come at anytime....you are calling him a liar! The "mystery" is unfolded....we no longer are looking through a glass darkly as those in the era of the OT but rather have the complete works of our Savior at our finger tips.
Jesus says - stay vigilant, be sober, be ready, WATCH....
if you are in the understanding of Gods words you will know what to be looking for and therefore ready. To be sucked into the Pre tribulation false doctrine is a dangerous thing.

No. There is no pre tribulation rapture. The anti christ comes first. Believers will be persecuted, and killed. We are not whisked away...who do we think we are?? There is persecution and martyrdom happening in many Countries, and always has been. We follow a suffering Saviour. Be prepared.

@MysterySaupe your comment was removed for posting many non-KJV "verses." They seemed to be attempting to prove good works are necessary for salvation, but the verses did not prove that. The verses are about being a good disciple, which is something that can come AFTER salvation.

When Jesus comes the SECOND time He will appear to those who look for Him and love Him. Hebr 9:28.
This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.( Second time.Acts 1:11.)
Immediately after the tribulation Jesus shall appear from Heaven. (SECOND TIME) Matt. 24:29-30.
When Jesus comes the second time He will descent from Heaven and we will meet Him in the air.( 1Thes 4:16).
When Jesus comes the second time we will be gathering together unto Him.(2 Thes 2:1).
When Jesus comes the second time He will come in flaming fire and vengeance to those unbelievers who had fallen away from the truth and then Jesus will be glorified in his saints in that day.(2Thes 1:8,10).
Before Jesus comes the second time a falling away from the truth must take place for the antichrist to be revealed.(2Thes 2:3)
When Jesus comes the second time He will destroy the antichrist with the brightness of His coming and those who had fallen away from the truth..(2Thes 2:8,10).
Nobody is going to disappear (raptured) before Jesus comes the second time.
The Rapture is not the Second Coming. At the Rapture, Jesus approaches but does not return. The Second Coming is after the Great Tribulation.
In a Jewish wedding, a bridegroom would approach the home of his bride, call her to himself, and she would haste to meet him. They would then leave together and go to the place he had prepared for her ahead of time. They would feast for 7 days. Christ will approach and catch up we who are saved. I believe we will go with him and have the 7 year supper, while on Earth is the Great Tibulation.

This is the same event that Jesus describes in more detail in Mat 24.
Paul clarifies the timing of this event in his second letter to the Thessalonians when he says that it will not happen until after the son of perdition sit’s in the temple. The Thessalonians had been deceived by a false doctrine which said that Jesus’ return was imminent and that He could return at any moment. The false doctrine which Paul had to refute was a version of the false pretribulation rapture being circulated today.
In 1Thess 4:17 the word meet is a translation of the word ‘Apantesis’ which is a Greek word that was used to describe the meeting of a dignitary who was coming to a town. The custom was, that the townspeople would go out of the city to meet the dignitary and accompany him back into the town. So again we see 1Thess concurs with Christ’s description in Mat 24.
The pretribulation rapture departs from the biblical account and complicates The Glorious event of Jesus’s return by saying He has to do it twice. They say, He has to come down from heaven only to have to return to heaven and wait and return again. This a nonsense that dilutes the biblical account of Jesus’ return. This false narrative is being pushed despite the fact that not one verse in the bible says that Jesus will return before the tribulation. I wonder why?? Paul’s caution is as fresh today as it was when he wrote it. Please, read what Paul says and be saved from the false pretribulation rapture lie.

If a person is truly saved, then all their sins ARE forgiven. They do not need to keep asking for forgiveness of past sins. They are already covered. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9, KJV.

@@The1707regina if you are born again your sins are forgiven. There is no need to continue asking him to forgive sins of the past. Repentance is great, and I have repeatedly asked for forgiveness for sins of the past if they bother me, or in the moment repeatedly praying, but doctrinally speaking, they ARE forgiven. 🙂 [1 John 1:9 KJV] 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Anyone is saved just by believing in the gospel. Romans １：１６ Ephesians ２：８－９
I would not include a requirement than one know/believe that he appeared to the Apostles. He did, but the gospel is simple. Repentance and trust in Christ as the Saviour.
I prefer to generally not explain it at all, in my own words, but simply give gospel verses. If the word of God, sharper than any two-edged sword doesn't work, a limp, wet noodle surely won't.

One thing that helps is to stop watching the news. Obviously read the Bible, but stay out of knowing every detail of the evil around us. The news turns over a dung pile to liven the scent, so-to-speak. They like to stir up trouble and grief.
The news likes to take the exception to the norm and make us believe it is the common. To keep us focusing on the mess. The pile of manure. Then they flip it and fluff it. Negativity is not good for us.
