What everyone said on the panel was perfect. I love Van. Your comment the other night about Biden stepping down being like taking the keys away from a parent was great. But could you just let Biden leave with some dignity? Do you have to say he fell on his sword? And CNN posts it in big letters. Have we become so heartless and desensitized that we've forgotten how to be tactful in this country? As Michelle Obama wisely said, "Your opinion isn't always necessary."
It was a great speech. Biden wanted to leave a few last messages with us on his purpose in office. And that is to fight for America and Democracy. We have that chance now with this vote. His Presidency and message was about his love for America. It was not about power and his ego like Trump. And if you noticed, the class act that Biden is, he never mentioned Trump's name in his speech.
Biden sends us this message because he knows what's a stake because. As President, he knows things we don't know.
