I was thrilled when you said it was gorge on the outside AND gorge on the inside. My teacher taught me, and I also taught that it had to be gorge on the INSIDE. Sometime, consider making a Waist Stay. Such a satisfying reward when finished. Practical too. I altered my Daughter’s wedding gown (it used to be mine). I added a Waist Stay because it had a heavy satin gathered skirt. It turned out marvelously.
