Hi guys, Awesome video thanks! Just wondering how easy it would be to wire in either an Anderson plug or direct wiring for an inverter to sit on top of the box? Probably the only thing missing from the set-up for what I am after :)
Hey mate yer that is easy to do. The back of the block up against the tub liner is open so there’s odd plenty of room to add additional circuits and cabling. The box is designed to fit under wings of a drawer system, with an inverter mounted to the top this wouldn’t fit that’s all mate, hope that helps cheers kurt.
Thanks for making such a detailed and clear video walkthrough. I have one question. I have read that you need to connect negative terminal to earth point in the tub or chassis. I didn’t notice that in your install. How did you go about connecting to earth point?
Hi Chris, the aux battery is earthed to the body of the black box so when you mount the box to the tub it is then earthed to the body of the car. cheers Kurt

Just wondering instead of wiring the wire that ignites the redarc charger all the way to fuse box in cab, could you join into the power plug(cigarette lighter plug) that is in the tub? (On the ranger wildtrak) I'm thinking of putting battery there under the roller door cover. Also does the power cable from the main battery have to be a heavy cable and what size cable should it be. Hey mate. The ignition wire just needs a live ignition feed, if you have a 12v socket in the back and want to go there you would just want to make sure that it is only live with ignition on as some of them are live with accesories or even live all the time so you would certainly want to check that. As for the cable to the front on the 25amp charger you would want to use 6b&s cable or an the 40amp charger 4b&s cable mate
I've got a super cab with a canopy and i'd want to put this up the back of the canopy right before the cabin. How will I earth it from the canopy? and, what do i do with all the excess wire? I'm going to have heaps. Should i cut it and re-heat shrink the attachments?

Nice kit, I didn't see where you connect an earth wire.
To chassis or battery?
Hi Ian the kit is earthed once the box is bolted into position. This earths the box to the vehicle chassis.

That depends on the person mate. This video shows the whole process. It probably takes me an hr maybe hr and a half. But some people take longer
