I'm trying to be better everyday, and every time I slipped away; my heart said "maybe you need to listen to Ustaz NAK more." i need reminders everyday 😕 😪 😞
You can't get reminders every day, instead come for reminders when you are about to slip, I am trying to do the same. Please pray for me brother,

I intentionally pray my Salah long for Allah. I do both Sunnah and foroz. If you want to get more closer do the sunnah and take your time.
When I was younger I used to hear that often that Quran must be read together with scholars or someone with knowledge and I think that was the biggest mistake that was holding me reading Quran on my own and delaying it for decades. Nouman is a brilliant in presenting Islam to Muslims that don’t pray and don’t read Quran.
All true and so needed to be said. As brother Nouman, I was saved from blind imitation when I started on my Quran journey alone 40 years ago reading the Yusuf Ali translation in the Boston area ( my hometown vicinity.)
After 3 years, I reverted.
Three years later, I felt that I needed to learn Arabic, as something crucial seemed missing, the real words of Allah.
Hence, many doors for learning were opened for me in Cairo, albeit slowly.
As our brother so rightly put it, never follow any human, as they are all by necessity, fallible.
Allah tells us in Quran in Surat 2 verse 282
و اتقوا الله و يعلمكم الله
and know, fear and obey Allah, and He will teach you.
Arabic is best, yet must be combined with piety and sincerity.
I suggest all begin by memorizing some Quran in order to clean out your hearts for this journey. Satan hates and fears the words of Allah more than anything, and you will face a battle.

Many brothers and sisters need to hear this. I have met someone whose source of Islamic teachings is the madrasa he attended growing up. He can't listen to any contrary interpretation of any verse

@@mkan3510 I don’t think so, it’s mental/spiritual preparation for the khutbah and making the same dua altogether is nothing boring but it’s a part of what we came for.

SubhanaAllah our dear brother always says it like it is. For many the truth hurts. Everything he says is so true. Hilarious when he said there are people who want a ' i want to feel good version ' of islam . SO TRUE. Basically making their nafs their God. Both ignorant and arrogant at the same time because they are not firmly rooted in knowledge and understanding of the deen. How blessed is Brother Nouman, MashaAllah - an incredible teacher

Superb!! The spectacular speech! Explaining the ayas of The Quran and connecting to the behavior of the people! Yes! The very same people of our community..who took the words of Allah in their own ways. HE only knows what's the real reason behind this..The most suitable way to point out the defects in the ways of thinking and belief of our own community! Yes! Creating their own ideas and insulating them in their group of similar thoughts! Rathar than understanding The Word of Allah in the correct manner..Thus forming differents Sects! And then declaring themselves as The most pious! May HE gives us..The Muslim Ummah taufeeq to understand the truth! Which Allah has revealed! What HE tries to explain to us in HIS Revelation! Contemplate and analyse it in genuinely! And then to apply them in our own life! 🤲..

Reading and studying the word of God ,without sheikh with experience ,is dangerous if you are not pious or sincere .But when you keep asking God to guide you and teach you the truth no matter what it is ,Allah will guide you inshaa Allah .And He will guide you to learn from good sheikhs .Does that make sense to you brothers ?

@@WeEducateAndTutor Quran is not that simple. We don't understand every translation properly. Especially in place like where we don't have proper educator to guide us or clear our dilemma. That's why I am asking for some good book reference beside the Quran for beginner.
