No surprise that Trivium's return to form from the Sin in the Sentence onwards was the time Alex Bent joined the band on drums. Having a drummer who is one of the best in the world has unlocked everyone's potential again. They're firing on all cylinders right now.
Nathan's slow decline?? Incline??? Into becoming Johnny is the highlight of my day. This song was SICK! been with trivium since Ember To Inferno and this song has so many cool parts to it. Can almost hear influences from all their albums in it
So regarding the strap, Matt Heafy wears two straps one in your traditional way and the other towards the middle of the guitar for extra support (also Matt started putting white rectangles on his strap to represent each album so he currently has 9/10 for the new album), so he doesn't blow his back out when playing, since Trivium have started to use 7 and maybe even 8-string guitars for their music (I know this is a 6 string song) the neck and guitar is generally heavier than a standard 6 string model so yeah no idea why I know this information, but I do! Anyway song is amazing, can't wait for this album!

Trivium has returned 🤘 Their sound has developed since the earlier 2000-2010 albums, though I liked that we still get some undertones of classic Trivium.
Matt uses a Richter double strap which has three points of connection on the guitar, also the white tape stripes on his guitar straps represent each studio album that Trivium has released.
Safe to say Trivium is back. Into the Court of the Dragon is easily one of their best songs in years. Feast of Fire is clearly one of their more radio-friendly tracks but still kicks major ass. Alex Bent is unreal, Matt is a god as usual and the rest of the band is on point. These dudes are just on their game. Incredible analysis/reaction on your guys part. Been binging your guys' videos the last couple days and I'm a fan. Keep it up fellas! Cheers
