There's nothing worse than a hacked on high voltage battery. Hope you can get those cells that were low back up and find a replacement equivalent BMS and wiring harness.
Terrifying. Reused existing BMS and wiring, tidied it up, balanced it up and sent the customer on his way with the knowledge he is riding around a bomb and needs a new battery to be safe..
Imagine if that battery is put in a bouncing vehicle with the battery upside down! All those connections rubbing into the bottom metal plate! House, garage or building burns to the ground...
I would not touch that mess, with a ten foot pole. It is obvious the kind of person that was in there last.
Sounds like a girl I know.
I got it working and told them it's a bomb and to replace it asap

I hope you let us know the outcome in your next video.
It balanced up fine, but I told the customer it wasn't safe and needed replacing in the very near future, the state of the poor thing
Lids are on the wrong end. Plastic lid should be top with the connections.

Well noticed! I did put it all the correct way up on final reassembly 👍
Wow I would of canceled that one
I told them it was a bomb and needed replacing!
