Yes, I was looking forward to seeing more of your videos. The camera is a little shaky, but I'm sure you will smooth it out over time. I look forward to seeing more of your favorite recipes! 🙏
@@mayakazuki8732 Mirin mainly adds a sophisticated sweet taste. If you don't have it at home, you can replace mirin with dry sherry, a mix of sake and sugar or a mix of rice vinegar and sugar. You can also use other rice wines such as Shaoxing (Chinese rice wine).
While I think this video is very helpful, I was wondering like how many eggs and tomato’s you used? Like the proportions? Please let me know where I can find the measurements!
My (Chinese) grandmother used to make an egg and tomato dish for me when I used to go visit her. Watching you make this, I realize that she... didn't really know how to cook. 😅 Don't get me wrong. I loved her version too - but hers was more like an inside-out tomato omelette (with still-solid tomatoes) and except for a little sugar and salt, none of the other flavourings.
Omg i absolutely love this recipe and the video, and i do have some tips to improve your filming, like brighter lighting, which will make everything stand out more, and you could have the camera on the front view for the whole video, with occasional zoom in when needed. Also, if you wanted to, put the materials that you prepare off to the side of the island, instead of the middle, and grab things when needed Im just a perfectionist tho, dont listen to me 😅 u got yourself a new sub❤
I love this dish, but I haven't made it in a while. 😭 I've found I like mine on the more savory side, so I go a little untraditional with an additional splash each of soy sauce and fish sauce - not too much. This is def on the breakfast rotation this week 🥰
Tomatoes and eggs don’t even sound like they’ll go well together but I’ve heard such great things that I just might have to give this a shot! Also, if you don’t mind, what inspired you to rebrand from literally.starving?
This is the weirdest thing ever, this is the first time I see you or your videos but the weird thing is I opened TH-cam after I made my self I version of that meal you making and as I sat to eat I opened TH-cam and saw your video 😮😮😮
Are you sure you even understand this dish? Literally no one in China would use ketchup and mirin in this dish, where’s the soy sauce? You need to separately fry the egg and the tomatoes, which are supposed to be chopped into fine cubes. Then u combine the two and fry them together and add the large chunks of tomatoes, literally the way u made it turned everything into a mush. Pls don’t teach ppl how to make king-fu panda-style Chinese food😅
@yiminglin_ Er, it's fine in my opinion. Your nice personality shows through. But I'd suggest you, either in the description or as pinned comment or website, have ingredients and recipe so people can reference it quickly instead of having to go through a relatively long cooking video. Thanks. Edit: I forgot I was watching this in 2X and it still seemed a bit slow. 😂 Yes, written instructions really are necessary.

@@yiminglin_ hi, I'm interested to try this recipe.. but I don't have the wine/vinegar that you mention so what material can subtitute with it?

My dad used to make me this every morning for breakfast in high school!

More cooking and videos in general I love your videos❤
Thank you! Will do 🫡
I cooked it was amazing😊
This has been one of my fave Chinese food. We have a version of it as well but we don't use that much tomatoes.
Nice! I will try it. It a little similar to "huevos a la ranchera"
Italians have something similar called eggs in purgatory which is a similar vibe!
After eating : Dirty mindedd🗿
That's look like very yummy😊

Give it a shot and let me know how it goes! And for the rebrand, it just felt like it was time just to use my own name
She is so pretty, hope one day can find somebody like her
This looks so good I love eating ketchup with my eggs in the morning I will try this
Ketchup is so underrated!
Hold on... I got 2 🍅 🍅 & 🚫 🥚🥚. 🤦🏽♂️
I'll be right back. Gotta run to the local market. Cheers from Cancún. 🍹👨🏾🍳💙🇲🇽

Let me know how it turns out!
I'm enjoying the newer direction you're doing. Personal home cooking, more vegetarian/vegan cooking.
Whats the powder before salt?

Can i just go with tomato eggs oil sugar salt garlic?

Her @?
You must have learned tomato & egg from an Indian recipe.
你肯定是跟印度人学的中式番茄炒鸡蛋。
