Is 5 days an ok amount of time to see Khao Lak?

+MrDampkring I guess yes, but it depends on what you want to do or see: national park, the islands, different beaches ?

I want to spend at least 2 days seeing the Similand and Tachai islands. Was not sure what to do with the rest my time there but looks like there is still plenty to do and see.Is Bang Niang a good location?

+MrDampkring Bang Niang is th best place for some entertainment at night. The beach is ok, but the best beaches are a bit more north.
