Amazing, well done. Also, the music video itself shows Amumu being tormented by shadowy figures, those are things we never got to see in-game. They could be some manifestation of a demonic entity disturbing Amumu by taking on the shape of deceased family members and friends. Even the symbols/runes in Amumu's splash art, which look like crying eyes, could fit into this idea of a demon of sorrow.
Thank you so much. Not sure about the symbols in the splash art because of how long ago it was made, I'm pretty sure it is just a take on the eye of Horus which is just a popular Egyptian hieroglyph. But I do like the shadows being a manifestation of a demonic entity that torments Amumu, It would also play into the fact that the current primordial demons we know of don't actually have a physical form, Fiddlesticks is just a dark demonic orb and Ashlesh is just formless water.
This is a great theory! I really like this potential lore for amumu, it would give him something more than just "sad mummy", having a demon behind the curse is a great idea.
Amumu and Rammus both have the "LEGEND HAS IT THAT HE IS X OR MAYBE X SOME SAY IT IS X" it's Riot trying not to pigeonhole themselves before selecting a thematic when they go to VGU them. I think Rammus is perfect as is and should exist as a bit of a meme forever so nay to VGUing him, but with Amumu they've kept the possibility of him open to being a yordle or an ancient child emperor of Shurima or a cruel short man so I think their is room for all of these things, but him harboring a demon of Sorrow would fit well with any of those choices
