I just bought a used 2020 Toyota that fits easily within my regular working person budget and I’m blessed. I realized that someone was going to later buy my 12 year old trade-in because my old car was what someone else was able to afford, and that gave me some interesting perspective.

It’s almost like there isn’t a finances class in California that teaches how to build credit and a stock portfolio and how to read the news to diversify it to sit on your butt and watch the ticker on the DOW or S&P and watch your money grow. Budgeting for bills and groceries isn’t difficult you make better credit for using a credit card to pay off that junk. Then pay it back as you hustle on ur influencer ‘job’. Getting great credit each month. Then maybe look into leasing a house to buy while your young until the housing bubbles then your home is worth so much more than it originally would have.

I make less than 1,000 a month. It’s horrible. It’s a severe struggle. Going without basic human needs. Forget wants. I can’t even imagine being in the position these people are in and they act like victims. Act like they’re poor and starving, going without medical care and life sustaining medications. It makes me sick, it’s never enough for these extremely rich and privileged people, and they have the nerve to act like they’re homeless and eating from dumpsters. I guarantee they don’t know what days of hunger pains are, freezing all winter without any heat, gosh the list goes on.

These people will never understand the real value of money. My family have a buissness and we work long hours with barely anything in return. Yes we'll get money in the end but we wont be spending it on fancy cars because we know just how much we worked to earn that money.
10 months is what it takes me to make that kind of money off of my job... Do i need to mention that i feel blessed not having to pay rent because my parents had the foresight to build a house big enough that can house multiple families ( 40 years ago mind you). Since i pay no rent, 400e monthly gets me food for me and the dogs, insurance for 1 dog and i pay my part of the utilities bill. That money is gone inside the day i get it. Getting 4k as a lump sum one time only would practically change my life at this point.

I wish I made even $120 off of 1 video that takes weeks to make and is over an hour long! I’ve spent weeks researching, days and days, even weeks editing and recording for videos and I’ll be lucky to make enough for TH-cam to pay me 😢 I couldn’t imagine being paid $4k for an hour of work and a 1 minute video. @@lethaldream50 I can say I didn’t do too bad considering I was monetized within my 1st month on the platform but it was kind of a thing where I found out info on a huge creator and a lot of people found it interesting but I also got a ton of hate. I made roughly $1200 all together 🤣 but compared to the weeks and months of work I put into it and all the research, I was probably paid like $1 an hour in total 😂 it was kind of a freak thing and focused on 1 horrible creator and I’ve since moved on and am working on new content and videos and starting my channel over basically or “rebranding”. I hope someday I can grow my channel to a point that’s profitable but it’ll be difficult to get to a point I’m making any “good” amount compared to the work, time and effort I put into what I do. Maybe someday but I’ll be very grateful if I ever do get there.
Hey layze im currently in recovery from an ED and its been a hard process and you're videos actually distract me from it and youve been a huge inspiration and youve helped me get out of the whole binge and purge cycle and while I was still being affected heavily by my ED i had lost a total of 10 pounds in one month without any effort

Thursday i have to go thru an operation to remove an unknown lump in my body. Thinking im having the worst month with my paycheck going to med bills and rent. Already can imagine the mountain of work after taking few days off for the operation... But damn, this couple had it rough! 😭

I’m 18 years old working 2 jobs with £500 in credit card debt. I have always been jealous of these “influencers” who can make a 15 second video and make more from that than I do in a week.
These two remind me of a couple from a few years back. They were living an "alternative lifestyle" AKA grifting off their viewers while they travelled the world having a wonderful time on other people's money. Can't remember the exact turning point but they made some ars@hole video along the lines of how glad they were that they could see the bigger picture and weren't stupid enough to be stuck in the rat race working for a living like so many others. Of course that's exactly what their followers WERE doing and clearly it went down VERY badly. Next step was a tearful apology video, the statement that they had seen the error of their ways and that they were stepping away from social media to reevaluate their priorities and a promise to do better in the future. Absolutely no idea what happened to them or what their names were.
Sometimes, it's easy to forget that there are people around you who care. So just to remind you all you are not alone and it's ok to ask for help, seeking help is a sign of courage, not weakness. You are worthy of acceptance and to be loved and it will be okay.

Society is so entitled. Historically you would save for as long as necessary, look around for affordable housing and ALWAYS budget appropriately. Not knowing the value of a dollar is INSANE. People need a reality check, especially influencers. However lack of education for budgeting in school/ early adulthood is also wild. Sadly even individuals on the poverty line live beyond their means then complain. Most people in society want now, instead of saving and budgeting. People want convenience over saving money too. It’s a huge issue!

I completely feel you on this. My partner is on disability (SSDI and SSI) and has been since before we met. Obviously his financial situation is not ideal when you're thinking about spending your life with someone but you can't help who you fall in love with. I was working full time as a nurse's aide when we met so I thought I would be able to carry us through life financially. He was told since he was a child he could never have children due to an injury he suffered. He had even tried having a child with his ex for years before we met and no luck. We get together and sure enough, I end up pregnant. We had never thought it was possible nor had we any intentions on trying. We were thrilled though, he's our miracle child. Well he ended up being born with Autism and is diagnosed as level 3 meaning he has severe symptoms. He also has ADHD, anxiety and potentially mild OCD but we're in the process of getting him reevaluated to see for sure. He's 9 years old now. Fast forward a few years after I had him, I started suffering from health problems and am now unable too work so we started receiving disability payments for our son. I tried working so many different types of jobs just desperate to find something I could handle doing with my health problems but nothing worked out which was devastating. My doctor has encouraged me for a few years now to file for disability but with my partner being on it and us receiving it for our son, I just don't feel comfortable applying for it. I'm embarrassed that our only income is from disability payments and feel like other people will think we're just trying to scam the system especially if I also apply but we're not. I hate not bring to work so much. I feel like such a failure in life. I should also add that my health problems and my partner's did not cause our son's Autism nor are our health issues something that could be passed on to a child. It's super difficult for us to get by being a family of 3 on 2 disability payments. We're stuck renting somewhere that isn't ideal and will never be able to buy a house, go on a vacation or anything. I haven't bought any new shoes or clothes for myself in over 10 years now. We struggle too pay bills, buy food and any money left over goes to getting our son what he needs. We try to ensure that no matter what, he never goes with out. We don't buy anything for ourselves unless its an absolute necessity and even then we sometimes don't. I have horrible eyesight and am considered legally blind with out my glasses. I've needed new glasses for like 7 years now because my eyes have gotten a lot worse and because my current glasses are broken. They're being held together with electrical tape and super glue. I've always been nearsighted with an astigmatism in both eyes but now I'm struggling to see close up as well so I now need bifocals. Even with insurance its going to cost a few hundred dollars too get new glasses because of all the extra things in need with my glasses because of how bad my eyes are. We just don't have it though. I couldn't even imagine what it would be like to make as much as they do in a month even. That would drastically change my family's life. All I want is to be able to get a nice home with a decent yard near some woods so my skin has a safe and peaceful place to live. I really hope eventually our situation will change and we can make our wishes come true.

Honestly, I'm almost 21 and I know I'm lucky to have the job I have and make the money I do (it realistically isn't heaps, but I can make rent, maintain my car and afford to study at uni). This is so tone deaf. There are people genuinely struggling to afford food every week. Going into debt to pay their electricity bill. They are not selling their $160K car because they're moving into a 5 bedroom house.
A lot of these young rich aren't going to stay that way with how quickly they blow through money. It's not going to last forever and a lot of them aren't financially responsible
Let’s say she makes four videos everyday. Each hour she gets 4000. The four videos gets viral and she makes 20,000 within five hours. So if this same thing happened for the rest of the week day then she would be making 80000. With that you could buy a car, a home, and other items.

Budgeting for bills and groceries isn’t difficult you make better credit for using a credit card to pay off that junk. Then pay it back as you hustle on ur influencer ‘job’. Getting great credit each month. Then maybe look into leasing a house to buy while your young until the housing bubbles then your home is worth so much more than it originally would have.

These people will never understand the real value of money. My family have a buissness and we work long hours with barely anything in return. Yes we'll get money in the end but we wont be spending it on fancy cars because we know just how much we worked to earn that money.
10 months is what it takes me to make that kind of money off of my job... Do i need to mention that i feel blessed not having to pay rent because my parents had the foresight to build a house big enough that can house multiple families ( 40 years ago mind you). @@lethaldream50 I can say I didn’t do too bad considering I was monetized within my 1st month on the platform but it was kind of a thing where I found out info on a huge creator and a lot of people found it interesting but I also got a ton of hate. I made roughly $1200 all together 🤣 but compared to the weeks and months of work I put into it and all the research, I was probably paid like $1 an hour in total 😂 it was kind of a freak thing and focused on 1 horrible creator and I’ve since moved on and am working on new content and videos and starting my channel over basically or “rebranding”. I hope someday I can grow my channel to a point that’s profitable but it’ll be difficult to get to a point I’m making any “good” amount compared to the work, time and effort I put into what I do. Maybe someday but I’ll be very grateful if I ever do get there.

I have always been jealous of these “influencers” who can make a 15 second video and make more from that than I do in a week.
These two remind me of a couple from a few years back. They were living an "alternative lifestyle" AKA grifting off their viewers while they travelled the world having a wonderful time on other people's money. Can't remember the exact turning point but they made some ars@hole video along the lines of how glad they were that they could see the bigger picture and weren't stupid enough to be stuck in the rat race working for a living like so many others. Of course that's exactly what their followers WERE doing and clearly it went down VERY badly. Next step was a tearful apology video, the statement that they had seen the error of their ways and that they were stepping away from social media to reevaluate their priorities and a promise to do better in the future. Absolutely no idea what happened to them or what their names were.
Sometimes, it's easy to forget that there are people around you who care. So just to remind you all you are not alone and it's ok to ask for help, seeking help is a sign of courage, not weakness. You are worthy of acceptance and to be loved and it will be okay.

Society is so entitled. Historically you would save for as long as necessary, look around for affordable housing and ALWAYS budget appropriately. Not knowing the value of a dollar is INSANE. People need a reality check, especially influencers. However lack of education for budgeting in school/ early adulthood is also wild. Sadly even individuals on the poverty line live beyond their means then complain. Most people in society want now, instead of saving and budgeting. People want convenience over saving money too. i make SSDI, here in the USA, and hearing someone complain about making in an hour what i make in 4 months is WILD.
I completely feel you on this. My partner is on disability (SSDI and SSI) and has been since before we met. Obviously his financial situation is not ideal when you're thinking about spending your life with someone but you can't help who you fall in love with. I was working full time as a nurse's aide when we met so I thought I would be able to carry us through life financially. He was told since he was a child he could never have children due to an injury he suffered. He had even tried having a child with his ex for years before we met and no luck. We get together and sure enough, I end up pregnant. We had never thought it was possible nor had we any intentions on trying. We were thrilled though, he's our miracle child. Well he ended up being born with Autism and is diagnosed as level 3 meaning he has severe symptoms. He also has ADHD, anxiety and potentially mild OCD but we're in the process of getting him reevaluated to see for sure. He's 9 years old now. Fast forward a few years after I had him, I started suffering from health problems and am now unable too work so we started receiving disability payments for our son. I tried working so many different types of jobs just desperate to find something I could handle doing with my health problems but nothing worked out which was devastating. My doctor has encouraged me for a few years now to file for disability but with my partner being on it and us receiving it for our son, I just don't feel comfortable applying for it. I'm embarrassed that our only income is from disability payments and feel like other people will think we're just trying to scam the system especially if I also apply but we're not. I hate not bring to work so much. I feel like such a failure in life. I should also add that my health problems and my partner's did not cause our son's Autism nor are our health issues something that could be passed on to a child. It's super difficult for us to get by being a family of 3 on 2 disability payments. We're stuck renting somewhere that isn't ideal and will never be able to buy a house, go on a vacation or anything. I haven't bought any new shoes or clothes for myself in over 10 years now. We struggle too pay bills, buy food and any money left over goes to getting our son what he needs. We try to ensure that no matter what, he never goes with out. We don't buy anything for ourselves unless its an absolute necessity and even then we sometimes don't. I have horrible eyesight and am considered legally blind with out my glasses. I've needed new glasses for like 7 years now because my eyes have gotten a lot worse and because my current glasses are broken. They're being held together with electrical tape and super glue. I've always been nearsighted with an astigmatism in both eyes but now I'm struggling to see close up as well so I now need bifocals. Even with insurance its going to cost a few hundred dollars too get new glasses because of all the extra things in need with my glasses because of how bad my eyes are. We just don't have it though. I couldn't even imagine what it would be like to make as much as they do in a month even. That would drastically change my family's life. All I want is to be able to get a nice home with a decent yard near some woods so my skin has a safe and peaceful place to live. I really hope eventually our situation will change and we can make our wishes come true.

They are simply paid to little giving the excuses that they're work is easy, do not really need much skill and they are easy to replace. Such stupid capitalism, market dictates bullsh*t. But, apparently this idiots dancing on Tiktok are giving us so much value to be paid 4000 dolars an hour. Such, weird worl we live in. Tell your mother she is doing actial work that benefit society and hopefully she gets a lot of tips.
We need to STOP buying from the companies that advertise with “influencers.” If we stopped supporting them, the advertisers won’t pay them and TikTok will disappear!
That's so much labor, especially if service workers get to come across entitled, rude people. But somehow, they get less or the supervisor skips a pay day.

Honestly, I'm almost 21 and I know I'm lucky to have the job I have and make the money I do (it realistically isn't heaps, but I can make rent, maintain my car and afford to study at uni). This is so tone deaf. There are people genuinely struggling to afford food every week. Going into debt to pay their electricity bill. They are not selling their $160K car because they're moving into a 5 bedroom house.
I failed to see why their lack of financially proper decisions is our problem to solve? The things I'll do to have their trouble...

Let’s say she makes four videos everyday. Each hour she gets 4000. The four videos gets viral and she makes 20,000 within five hours. So if this same thing happened for the rest of the week day then she would be making 80000. With that you could buy a car, a home, and other items.
