    Don't know if anyone said this already, but you were working into the BL - back loop - just for future reference. I know, I know, I'm a bit critical! I prefer to think of it as fastidiousness. :)
    Also, I love this pattern, thank you so much. :) I found it a few days ago when I was on holiday at the beach, and I made two already. OH! I added something at the end that might interest you. After the last single crochet row on the strap, I turned and added a row of slip stitches across, and I like it better because one side of the strap (the first chain row) was tighter and the other side was softer and stretchier. So by adding one row of slip stitches, it made it feel even in tightness, if that makes sense.
    Anyway, awesome pattern. Thanks!!

    I’m sorry but a mistake that I found was that you said for round 4 do FLO dc but it was actually BLO (back loop only), even though you did point it out in the video, I was focusing on my work and listening so I didn’t know, you should clarify this to other viewers in case they get confused, love ur tutorials tho❤😊

    I found this hard to follow, honestly. I eventually figured it out with the help of a more experienced crocheter, but it would really help to hold the project closer to the camera and more centered so I could better see what you're doing. Going a bit slower would help, too.

    • @mayamancinas9953
      @mayamancinas9953 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure if you've already made it but I followed the exact pattern for a 32 ounce water bottle that's around 28 cm around and it fit a smidge tight before stretching and blocking it but it worked. I made a second holder for a 40-ounce water bottle that's about 30 cm around, but I accidently increased the pattern of the circle by two stitches, and it fit nearly perfect. So, if you were to make one for 34 cm, you might want to increase the stitches in the circle by at least 2 or 3.

    My only comment is I was taught that (R4) these are BLO...(back loops only). They are behind your hands and they are on the back side (or the wrong side) of your work. I had to frog out that row in order to have the right side of my work shown as I worked the rest of my rows.
    Have I been misinformed about where the BLO and FLO are?

    How long is it taking everyone to make the small size? I swear it took me about 3 hours! I am so slow (& I’m not a beginner).
    She crochets so fast & I’m so envious.
    I used 100% cotton & I think she wasn’t. I may try using a different yarn next time.

      i used Lily Sugar n Cream 100% cotton yarn! Everyone crochets at a different pace and that is totally okay!

    for r1 when u say slst into the chain 2, does that mean not the first stitch but in the hole directly next to the chain 2?

    • @strongearthcreations
      @strongearthcreations  ปีที่แล้ว

      to start your row you did a chain 2 which counted as your first stitch, you skip stitch into that second chain

    My R7-15 rows keep tunneling inward like they’re decreasing. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

    I made at least a dozen of these and have sold most of them. In two craft shows this year, they were my best seller!
    And yes I’m a bit anal and that front loop only stitch looks like a back loop to me. 🙂.
    Still a great tutorial and after making the first couple it did take me just over an hour each. ❤

    hey i have a problem, my work keeps going wavy when i crochet. How can i fix it?

    • @strongearthcreations
      @strongearthcreations  ปีที่แล้ว

      you could either be accidentally adding extra stitches, your tension might be too loose, or your hook size might be too big!

    Do you have a written pattern with stitch counts? How many stitches should I have after the netting and then sc rows??

    • @Janeiac
      @Janeiac ปีที่แล้ว

      You should have the same number of stitches as when you started the sides. The increases are only on the bottom, then it's worked even.

    Hi, can you help me? My rows always end up just flopping out and stretching to the point that it's not hugging the bottle like I wanted. I've tried decreasing as I go up a row but nothing changes :(

    My base came out wavy. Is there something in particular I'm doing wrong? Using a 6.5 crochet hook.
