Simon, your continuous seasonal coastal cruising north and then back home is something you definitely love. Always good watching and listening to your dialogue. So good you do this to enjoy your retirement while the wife chooses to work - I’m just in the same position now and has been good to show it is a perfect balance. Safe seas and lovely seeing you finding a new perspective every day. Hopefully catch up for a beer one day mate! PS: better check on your comment about dialling triple zero if NO cellular coverage going via satellite services. No possible unless you have your iPhone in a satellite sleeve my friend!
@@fuzzylogic8333Mick, good to hear from you. Just about to launch a Ross hull Moreton Bay Cruiser. Doing the keel now then off we go to Sandy Straits. Hope to catch up with you one day..
I just keep coming back to your videos Simon. They are so down to earth. I fully expect this to be the way I'll be doing it when I finally get out there. I've just made a contribution to your Cruising Kitty, so have a glass of wine on me 🙂
Hi Greg , Thank you for your beers mate I will be put them to good use. My son rolled my UTE. wrote it off so I had to buy a Isuzu MU-X it's a up grade! Trying to get Stratos ready for the big lap in a month with my wife. Safe sailing Regards Simon.🤠
@@simoncarteroz hi I'm in Bundy now visiting dad. I've still gotta paint my deck and eventually dry out the hull for another 2pac . Other then that and the other list. Im going sailing asap. Just gotta work a bit first. Trying too update my my TH-cam channel soon. Cheers. I owe U a beer Sir. d
Pig Face or Carpobrotus glaucescens! Apparently the leaved are edable, so I just found out and you can use the juice from the leaves on insect bites like alovera. Don't you love the electric blowfly sound effects to compliment the beautiful sunset! I presume it's not your drone?
Watumbah Creek is building up with sand because of the lack of strong westerly winds in the last 5 to 10 years. Remember in 2005 when the creek nearly broke through 300m north of the entrance. Next time you come to Burnett Heads, let me know and I shout you a dinner. ⛵️⛵️
Thank god something normal to watch other than politicians and war, safe sailing Simon.

What a lovely evening watching this. I did think you were going to keep going north like to Milne Bay, or Cape York.
We are getting close to Cyclone Season , time to head south :)
@@jimmyhvy2277 must be that time of the year, I forgot. Thanks.

The pig face is a black Swan delicacy so you don't see much where they hang out.
No it was not my drone but he was going to send me some movie clips not come yet.
