Thank you! Very realistic stories with very realistic expectations. I found my first breastfeeding story among these and you described it perfectly. Seek for specialised help, if you struggle, as soon as possible! Best advice ever.
For me the problem with getting help was not that I chose not to, but that it took TOO LONG to be seen. I set up an appointment as soon as possible and by the time I saw them, it was too late. I had a horrible, horrible experience with low supply and it was honestly traumatic. I never got a good answer for why my supply was low. My baby wasn't tongue tied, I was eating and drinking plenty, had good latch, and was breastfeeding frequently. Now that I am pregnant again, I fear reliving that trauma.
@@NewLittleLife I am planning on talking with my doctor at my next appointment about what proactive steps we can take to set me up for success. I'd like to see if I can talk to an IBCLC ahead of time to make me better prepared. I'm not sure if that's possible, but I'd like to try. I have also learned so much (in part thanks to you, so thank you!) that I'm hoping we can do better this time.
Allison, thank you. I have learned so much from you. I found your channel breastfeeding my first baby and still enjoy the content as I breastfeed my second. My first son took several weeks to consistently latch so I had to learn how to pump immediately which I did by watching almost every video you've made. I ended up with a good freezer stash both journeys as I breastfeed when home and pump at work. You have truly made a difference in many mom's lives, even the women like me who you don't ever meet because your TH-cam videos alone were enough to get me to scenario 1 :) thank you again!
I have a ?, so my baby is 12 days old I am pumping every 3 hrs but I am only getting 1.5-2 oz how can I increase my supply to have enough to feed him. I eat outs every day drinking water but haven’t seen a change. Help please

Such a good point I hadn’t thought of, do you have some better resources set in place this time around?
