I love your platform, but it would be great if you could upgrade it to support two cameras instead of requiring guests to join from separate desktops. Please consider enhancing your platform to allow for this feature.
The new features are great! However some of the features mentioned were not tagged for us as customers whether some of the features were standard or pro plan. I just went on my paid subscription on pro plan and did not have all access to the colors for my lower thirds. So for the next tutorial, please let us know what subscription has these particular features. Thank you
Thank you for all of this. Looking forward to digging into it all the weekend to setup my next studio stream. The omnichat is going to be a lifesaver for me. Cheers!
@@Riversidefm I'd say that and the ability to change view in the editor (host fullscreen, guest fullscreen, both on screen, etc) would be the two biggest things most podcasters would want - at least in terms of the video side. It's a pretty big miss on the platform's part to not have those things. I mean, the editor is almost useless without that ability (at least for pro podcasters). The vertical streaming thing is a big miss too, since a lot of people want to livestream to one of the bigger socials. I LOVE all the other features, but those two things have me only using Riverside to record things I don't want to stream, and then taking the edits to Premiere. I'd rather do it all in Riverside and never leave.
Hello Stephen. Could you perhaps provide some more information on the possibilities for using the audience link? In which ways would the audience be able to participate? Chat, voice, video? And if the audience link is sent out via different social media channels, would the audience be able to participate, by clicking the link? Or will the link work only on certain apps or just the web browser?
Hello Stephen. What would be the minimum bandwidth upload speed necessary for high quality video? Also, I see that there are options to select from a livestream, given the respective bandwidth. Given that not all participants might have the same bandwidth speed, which would be the best setting to select? Lastly, if I am hosting the studio/ live stream, is there any benefit of having very fast bandwidth?
If you have around 30-50 Mbps, that should offer a high quality live stream. For those viewing, the quality will adjust depending on their bandwidth, you don't have to adjust anything for that. And the faster your internet when hosting, the better than live quality can be and you can leave uploads ON even while you record. On slower bandwidth speeds, I would go into studio settings > advanced > and pause uploads while recording to keep better live quality.
Is there still live call-in available for livestream? Will they be able to call in from any platform we are streaming to? Also, do they still need to be on the computer to call in or is it available on the app? The last time we tried live call-in it was glitching. Thank you!
Live call in is available when you have audience mode enabled and the viewer is tuned in via that audience link. Unfortunately we don't support call-ins from social platforms or mobile just yet.
Is it possible to add intro and outro videos on a live streaming? I'm looking for those videos to take the full screen and not to see the guests. Also, can we add onto the screen the guest when its time or are all guests always on the screen? thanks!
@RiversideFM In relation to the stat's during the livestream (how many people on each stream), can you get that data afterwards? Ie, number of guests on each platform stream, how long they were on for etc? And is the chat comments from each platform retained?
You can download the collective chat using the button in the top right while still in-studio, but for post-stream analytics you’ll need to visit the destination platform dashboard.
We don't have a way to upload a QR code image like that, but you can have that open in a window on your computer (Preview on Mac for example) and then share your screen to display to your viewers!
Hey why can't I upload still images to show during a live. I can add an mp4 or .mov but not a jpg or png to show important stills during a livestream. There's got to be a way to do this. It's basic functionality that all other streamers do including the free version of stream yard. Help me Obi Wan Ben Kenobi of Riverside. How can I show a still image when going live?
Hi there, we understand the frustration there. Unfortunately we don't have a way to upload static images right now. The best way to share them while recording is to have them open in Preview or another app on Mac / PC, then share your screen with just that app. Will share this request with the team!
Hi ! How can I livestream to my Facebook group ? I think it is not possible the only way seems to livestream to a FB profile and then fwd it to the group. Doing like this = there are no comments appearing in my group or reactions from the audience (as the livestream is fwded and not directly inside the group). Would you have a best practice? I would like to set up weekly livestreams and it is really no intuitive.
For that, you’ll need to use custom RTMP as a destination with the group. Will work on a video for this, but when you schedule a live stream for the group, Facebook should provide a stream URL and Stream key. You can then add a custom RTMP destination in Riverside using that info. Omnichat will not be able to pull in comments on the stream to Riverside chat unfortunately.
@@Riversidefm I tried but I think now FB does not allow 3rd party app to livestream directly in a FB group ... Looking fwd to watching your video on this! Thank you so much for this fantastic product! I love it (and for your quick response)
I think if you took a little more time explaining these new features and making it a longer video would be more advantageous rather than rushing through it.
We're doing just that! Here's more on the multi-streaming capability: th-cam.com/video/SjrMr5F6MRk/w-d-xo.html and Studio Branding: th-cam.com/video/CTVoxXw_7-M/w-d-xo.html
Zoom actually records compressed audio and suffers from much lower audio quality. Would love to know the challenges you came across in Riverside though and we'll see if we can help!
These new features are incredible!! 😎
Huge congrats to the dev team for adding so many useful things!
Yes, kudos to them!
Love, love, love these new features. They are just what we need right now. 🤩
Awesome to hear!
I love your platform, but it would be great if you could upgrade it to support two cameras instead of requiring guests to join from separate desktops. Please consider enhancing your platform to allow for this feature.
We do offer a secondary camera feature that will record additional angles, but we're also working on more video switching features for the future!
1000%

You're welcome, and we're excited to see what you stream with the new tools!
Existe a possibilidade de transmitir no TH-cam e no Instagram ao mesmo tempo? Sendo o TH-cam transmissão na horizontal e no Instagram na vertical?
Is there a way to stream vertically to TikTok or IG?
Not at the moment, but we'll note that as a request!

You can setup as many as you'd like! The paid upgrade is to remove Riverside's watermark, upgrade to 1080p, and brand your studio.

Is it possible to edit speaker view in post? There are times I’d like to show both speakers and then zoom in on the person who is speaking.
We know this is often requested...and stay tuned. We'll have an answer for you VERY soon!
Great thanks for the reply

You can utilize virtual backgrounds via out mobile apps and Mac app, which you can grab here: riverside.fm/mac-app

Can you play any music or do you have to get music licensing bto be able to play any songs
It depends where you are streaming as TH-cam will check for copyrighted music.
