You're not entirely wrong.....the does were for sure....he found them there. I had never seen that buck before, as there had been a camera and feed there all Fall. First day of rifle season he appeared out of the blue. Once the neighboring pressure hit, he moved in and found the setup. Thanks for watching.
Things happen at the moment of truth sometimes. It's all a part of hunting. There's alot of boxes to check in both preparation and execution. Sometimes small mental lapses can cause big problems.....such as this. Not sure it's worthy of a "Geez" reaction though. It's a small mistake that ultimately got fixed.
You don't know how to ease a safety off WITHOUT spooking a deer? Why can't you believe that happened? Do you think deer hear metallic clicks all over the woods and fields every day?
