This is hands-down the single best podcast on early season Whitetail strategy that I have ever watched/listen to. Beau, your content continues to just amaze me! It is making me a much more knowledgeable Hunter exponentially! Keep up the great work, brother! Thank you so much for sharing your gifts!

Steve is my new favorite guy to listen to. I’m 62 and have hunted since i could. Everything he shows in his data i 100% totally agree with. i hunt NY and his data coincides with my own experiences.

A lot of people disagree. But a lot of others have noticed something with cell cams scaring certain deer.
I run a ton of them and certain brands ran on video mode seem to do some damage.
Don Higgins is now on this train as well.

Good podcast. I will add i hunt southern wv mtns. You cannot hunt the wind in my experience, it switches so much. I’d love to see a podcast in this such scenario.

So many eye opening thoughts. Just thinking back to the last couple of years why or how I could have got my velvet buck but missed. I watch these guys and the huntr podcast and it seems that the western PA woods are very similar to the New Hampshire woods.

I would love help figuring out a big 13 point. I got him on camera very often from before the start of archery and through late season and into February. I never found his sheds and he hasn't been past any of my cameras in the usual spots. Should I give up hope on this buck or expand my area?

Hi Ty! I wouldn't give up. If he's an old deer (which it sounds like he is) his core area could just be shrinking and you may be just off of where he is.

A cell cam giving you the jump on a buck in the ANF isn't likely. Urban hunting comes with its own challenges, but I think there's plenty of evidence of how effective a man can be with trail cams and small blocks of property

Serious question: How can someone guide/profit on public land? Doesn't this hurt the problem with hunter access. Genuinely interested in opinions...

I’d like to ask Steve if he would consider trail cameras to be so good if everyone ran as many as him.
I run 30-40 and man if everyone ran that many the woods would be a nightmare. It is what it is.

Not everyone is like you guys, trail cameras cause a lot
    Of problems with spot
Claiming..guys get a good one on cam then next thing you know there’s all kinds of sabotage..fighting arguing, stealing cams stealing stands,etc..I know a guide relies heavily on cams..but there are ALOT of conflicts caused by cameras
