Make a powder snow door. A door where all the door blocks MUST be dispensed out by a dispenser, then moved into place when closing, and vice versa. I wanna you what you’d come up with this
Wouldn't it be a great use to create a self building bridge with this? Think about it. It's literally a bridge that you, can only pass through. No other mobs or players can. And with the blocks not affecting piston limit it will be super easy to make
so many cool applications for this. Hoping it stays. The ghost blocks also ghost light a beacon! They make the beacon appear lit but it can't give off any effects. The reverse is also true. A ghost block will prevent a valid powered beacon from being visible, but you will still get the effects. Finally invisible beacon beams!... not to refresh the ghost block every time the area is loaded.
I swear repeater locking is rarely ever used, it's nice to see it used here I've implemented locking before in a fully-automated sugar cane farm, I used 2 rows of pistons to make sure all the drops went into the hoppers but I needed the lock to keep the observers from creating a feedback loop each time the pistons retracted
Lmao you can make a obsidian wall above it first, then when someone comes into proximity turn it into a quartz wall and then confuse the heck out of them when they tried to mine it. Or if you have op a barrier wall would be even funnier and they would be left wondering why they cant walk through the air they've just broken

I actually discovered a ghost-lily pad when I placed a Lily pad and moved my mouse really fast so for me it looked like I placed 2 out of 1 Edit: Idk if anyone discovered this already, btw it was in 1.16.4
What happens if you let it reach the extension limit? The server should have no problem pushing it but the client would have existing blocks in the way...
Maybe the other player with sink that you just placed automatic barriers even though they’re not barrier blocks there iron blocks on your First person side
But how does it tell which player generated them? If two players on a server were present when they are being generated, surely, they could both see them, could they not?
No bc the problem is right there on your computer, in your copy of minecraft the server has nothing to do with it. You would only both see them if you were both using the same computer to run minecraft
@@antivirusexe2856 Yeah, but I mean if they were both right by the piston when the ghostblock was generated, how would the piston know which one of them pushed the button and which one should therefore see the ghostblocks? I understand that the server has no record of the blocks existing, but if the actions of the piston can confuse the client into thinking there is a block there, can it not confuse multiple clients that are looking at it?
Wouldn't be the first time powder snow glitches in bedrock edition for a time you could put two powder snow buckets in a cauldron the second powdered snow would delete any block above the cauldron including bedrock and end portal frames, its patched but I idiotic my lost an end portal on my world because I thought it would leave the end portal blocks intact like in java I was wrong

Water also works to update ghost blocks, if you want to create some kind of automatic removal system (without relogging)

You should try using the carpet mod, because it makes tiles like chests and dispensers movable

That would be funny but unfortunately it's a client side bug so they wouldn't see the ghost blocks.
