You need to change internals if you want to go over 6,000. That's there to save the flywheel and rod from exploding. 6,000 is already pushing it on a cast aluminum rod.
Nice build & video work. Tip: your voice can't be heard over engine clatter at 14:15 point. On a full face helmet with face shield down, a BT with boom mic will fix this. I bought the BILT BT modular helmet @ Cycle Gear & callers can barely tell I'm riding on Freeway at 70mph. That's how effective the noise cancelling is, because it's designed for motorcycle audio. Just a tip. Congrats on build looks clean & sweet.
Hey man I’m trying to swap mine, could you show me how you did your throttle, I want to use my handle throttle, if not how did you use the thumb throttle
What were the tools and lubricants you used to assemble the bike and add the engine on? im a first time builder so i have little knowledge on this stuff
Looks GOOD I like that Job, M’man. I’m building now and I am at a place choosing between my 420cc / PRED ( I’m 265lbs. ) and thoughts of a “GHOST”! Question : Why do they promote “competition only” for this motor?
Where can I find that jackshaft. My chain and converter are on the same side so it doesn’t fit. I need to have them on opposite sides like you but I need new jack
It would be faster if the bike wasn't so heavy. It's pretty strong except for the engine plate and pegs. Gussets are your friend. The problems don't start to about 12-15hp so the ghost shouldn't be an issue stock. Peak power and torque are at 4500 with a steady drop in torque with a slight increase of rpm to 6k.
i have the same bike except for the jack shaft set up........i don't think the coil you tried to install was defective. these engines have a special flywheel and coil.....
@MJTech : What was your reason for going with the 212 Ghost vs the 242cc Predator? I am spec'ing this bike for 10k feet operation offroad with lots of hills wondering which engine for my purpose at 250lb.
In my opinion the easiest way to choose is if you want to build or not. If I wanted more power than stock and didn't want to build I would get a Ghost. If I want to build for power I would get something different.
What gas tank did you use , I've bought 2 gas tanks one from go power , one from Amazon and they font fit , there's no way. Could you let me know where you hot the tank, do I have remove the heat plates ?
Hey there I'm a mechanic, what you can do is order a pit bike gas tank from Amazon or Walmart online and that would help you by removing the old tank and using the new one... Yes it will free up space by removing the heat shield
@@wolfblack6759 Thanks for replying wolf , I figured it out , the predator ghost , you have to remove both heat Sheilds, also it has a third top oil fill , the yellow top oil fill has to be cut off a little so that the gas tank will come down enough so you can bolt on , FYi for ghost engine installing gas tank .
What kinda needle and thread do you use? I have off road needle and thread tires but you used the street needle and thread 😆 Idk why but saying thread instead of tread is an east coast thing..? 😆
@@JBBRAD9267 : Except that his tires are not street tires. They are flat track tires designed for hard pack dirt. The tread has wider cuts than a street tire. So they are dirt tires that happen to work well on the street. I am wondering how they work on dirt in general other than hard pack. I would expect that they are better on dirt than a street tire, and not as good on dirt as a knobby unless the rider is planning on sliding a lot of corners like a flattrack racer.
I want to do this I got a monster moto 80cc I want to swap out but I don't know how to install pipes and engine I searched on TH-cam nobody showed how to install it
Dude I wanna smoke what you’re smoking. For the price, you get way more bike for your buck. Even with a HF predator engine in it, you’re spending the same or less than a Coleman. And the Coleman’s don’t come with a cvt kit or as beefy of a frame.

Plus it might not have a gear governor it might be electronically
Its an electronic governor. If you replace it with a stock 212 coil....even faster!!
How do you install it

What torque converter did you buy? I’m trying to do your same build on a Massimo warrior, first time mini bike owner haha
What did you ever do for your lights? Did you find a coil kit in a different flywheel or did you put a battery in?
How did you video yourself riding from the side? I don't see any rod holding the camera. Great looking bike and nice work.

I love my 212 pro but definitely when I got it running 55 mph it broke down every time I turned around
Nice job. What phone mount did you use? Looks like it works very well.
was there s gap in the sides or the rear fender mounts? i couldnt get mine bolted on because the gap was too big.
How did you mount the gas tank and where did u get the gas tank
Excuse me, I watched your video and I would like to know if you still remember the exact name of this display... automotive intertaiment.
hello can i ask a question
You need the juggernaut pully from GPS,
by chance what size air filter did you run on yours?
Was the thumb throttle part of the kit or did you convert it? I'd like to convert my BT200X's to thumb throttle for the kids.
Can you link parts? Mainly thumb throttle, torque converter and if you know of any off road tires
