I think another reason why the Hero Factory movie got cancelled was also because during that time their were many other toy based movies that try to capitalize on Transformers that failed like GI Joe and Battleship which made Universal and Lego cold feet to produce the movie
so many projects that looked interesting but were abandoned for logistical and financial reasons. I'm not even talking about them when you discover them on the Internet via leaks.
I find it heartbreakingly hilarious that they removed Echo Zane for what amounts to quality control only for the show’s quality control to fall off immensely after Sons of Garmaddon.
Yeah, it would have been way better if he was echo Zane and would have made his death better. Also in Crystallized , they could have mad Mr F echo Zane and him and Zane could have fought
I came here for lego island. it's a real shame what mindscape did by firing the employees, this is why Lego didn't make any official lego island sets and they didn't do any future business deals with mindscape. they threw away the golden goose to save themselves a few hundred dollars.
Not really lost media but Lego related, I’ve always wanted to ask one of the original VAs of Ninjago why they were all recasted in the movie with more well known actors. And this was pre-Mario movie!
You think Mario was the first time big name actors have been cast in an animated movie? This started waaay before Mario. Aladdin blew up because of the Genie and everyone knew it was Robin Williams. Then Disney, Pixar and DreamWorks were all getting celebrities to do animated movies and to get adults to come and watch their movies because of the cast. Look at stuff like Shrek, Shark Tale, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, etc. All have big Hollywood names as the main characters
Do you think the Illegal Persian Monkie Kid musical counts for this? Basically, there's an illegal Persian dub of Lego Monkie Kid, with there being musical that parodies exisitng songs. I could only find a few clips of the musical and I can't find the full thing anywhere online so I was wondering if it counts as lost media.
They’re on BorDows’ channel. Also, the musicals are separate AMVs and not a full length episode. Digitoon is free to use now anyway so it’s not lost whatsoever.
Taking advantage of this Lost media subject (or almost, because no sie really is a Lost Media). There was a lego game (more specifically "The Lego Movie") that I can't remember the name of, on the Cartoon network website, which was a 2D platform game without side scrolling, where you had to collect the tube of glue (I think) to pass the stage, and at each stage passed, the character changed, then I could change to Emmet or to Lucy. I only remember this game and I can't find it in any list of lego games that were played on the browser. (If there are errors in English, I'm using deepl).
Checked my old Roblox account and found badges from both the hero factory breakout game and the brain attack promo. I also remember frequently using black phantom's Arachnix drone in gear heaven
More of a personal lost media, I remember a LEGO Star Wars Brickfilm/Stop Motion movie about a Jedi and (i believe) kyber crystals. I think it was set after Ep 6, But it essentially ended with the Jedi on planet earth after starting a family and leaving. From what I've heard, it was deleted for copyright reasons
@@Rebelrose - I remember it too, then. I thought it was a brickfilm by Fancy Pants, but apparently it wasn't. It was from some famous brickfilm TH-camr, he had other great videos. I remember he made a Bionicle video which oddly enough treated the characters as mechas.
@@RobsMedia25You forgot to mention the cancelled Legends of Chima movie called Time of Heroes. It was going to be set after the events of the Fire Vs Ice season. It was set for a December 2015 release. But for unknown reasons it got cancelled. This was probably because the theme was planned to get discontinued in 2016.
Hearing about the Hobbit Battle of the Five Armies DLC made me kinda sad. Lego LOTR could've been way cooler, but it seemed like the whole theme got scrapped for some reason I really hope we can get a Complete Saga like with Lego Star Wars for it some day (and hopefully more sets that aren't $500)
The Warner Brothers statement is still very confusing to this day "Lego Hobbit was a great game, it was setup to eventually include the last movie! No DLC will be made!" I mean what? WB should have offered indefinite rights to work on the material. I feel like this still really isn't TT's fault
I'm disappointed that the Mixels "series" was just a bunch of shorts and a few specials. Especially since the last 2 specials seemed to focus on original characters that didn't have their own official sets (like Booger). The last 2 seemed to be major world building storylines that had the potential to become a full fledged series, but by then they ended the line.
You should've been more clear about the Lego Racers entry. There is a game called Lego Racers that was released in 1999 for PC, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, and Game Boy Color. There is also a game called Lego Racers 2 that was released in 2001. The game you're referring to is "Lego Racers: The Video Game", which, according to the lego games fandom, was first advertised on lego set boxes in 2009. You should have acknowledged the previous game, and pointed out how this one was different, but you didn't, which made me confused when watching your video.
I'm still looking for the stop motion of the full Titanic movie that was on TH-cam around 2010 (divided into many videos). Probably lost to copyright claims

The Roblox Hero Factory event actually DID happen btw!
it added gears and hats! the game itself wasn't much fun, but the rewards were worth it.
people don't even remember if it actually happened? shit that makes me feel old lmao
I actually kinda remember it lol
I still have the video of me playing that game on my Facebook account lmao
Still got the cosmetics. That event was awesome.
I miss the Tiny Turbo line. Sure, we got Speed Champion polybags, but it's just not the same.

Dude, I would have actually killed for a live-action hero factory movie! 😢
LEGO Racers on the DS would have been fun I think. Placing bricks with the touchpad sounds cool. 😁

Because of marketing, belive it or not people will go see a movie just because an actor appears name appears on the poster.

The lego racers:the video game needs a comback
rob your channel is great man
Billion Brick Race getting canned STILL hurts the most, we could've gotten the Lego equivalent of Redline or TAILENDERS, dammit.
As someone who loves Lego in my childhood, this was an amazing video!! Keep it up!

There's so many lego animations that are hard to find now due to TH-cam's algorithm changing to favour official content.
Did it end with the main character as an old man flying a Jedi Fighter?
@@Jean-Paul-Lane-Valley That would be correct. He goes to like a basement, gets on his ship and leaves

The Mixels segment was surprisingly interesting. I learned a lot about lost Lego media. 🌸 4:17
Lego is so nostalgic for me. Especially Bionicle, I had a couple of early figures in the line
Did the original get taken down?
Nah, I remade it. The original is outdated and I added new topics.
Ah
