This turned out to be an incredible resource - by far the best explanation of developing an affiliate program I’ve come across. I learned a ton. I’m at the very beginning. So far, I’ve created several lines of clothes and put together a Shopify store. I opened it to the public the other day and have managed to get a few organic sales. I’m looking for the best methods of getting traffic for free at first, because my funds are very limited - though hopefully not for too long. You gave me a whole bunch of great ideas for where to find affiliates and I’m going to listen to this multiple times, take a bunch of notes and brainstorm this more specifically. Something that would still be very useful for me at this stage would be a kind of checklist for the process of building up to a functional affiliate program. Also, a discussion of how other tools, like LinkedIn or Facebook ads could be used to more precisely search for viable affiliates, or to convert the extra web traffic into email lists for more direct targeting. Anyway, thanks again, this was awesome!!!🐲

This is very helpful. It’s also good because as a small business owner you also create jobs or partnerships I would say for people who want earn good money from the affiliate program.
You might want to look at Tapfiliate (tapfiliate.com/integrations/wix-affiliate-marketing/). As I understand it, they have a direct integration with Wix. Good luck!
An affiliate in an affiliate program is paid av commission for driving website traffic or conversions for your products/services. Backlinks can be from affiliates but also from other websites that you are not paying to link to your website.
