@@Wisewolfholo4 They made them black and they made Leanor, Leana, Baela and Rhaena all mixed race. They somehow forgot that every other Targaryen would also be mixed race thanks to their insanity.
I don't like the woke cast decisions that made the Velaryons black and the Targaryens "ugly". Making the Velaryons of black ethnicity is totally changing the mood and disturbes a good immersion. And it just don't fits to a book based on european medieval society and nobility. Everytime one of them (Corlys Velaryon, or his sons Adam or Aly ) is shown I think of the Carribean, but not of Westeros. If someone would make a movie about a famous african warrior tribe ; you sure would NOT cast some caucasian actors , give them a wig and pretend thats normal.
@@wolfwolf-sr6he is adaptation in the books they are still white. How emma as rhaenyra and emilia are ugly? you are crazy hahaha Laena Velaryon's actress is f gorgeous too
@@MarcosSantos-dj6lk I don't understand your comment. The most of the Targaryens characters are really ugly or at least NOT VERY attractive. Especially the white actors playing Targaryens are looking dull or "like your neighbour. Olivia Cooke as Alicent is okay also. As well as her father Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower.
This actually angered a lot of book reader when House of The Dragon aired. Just like what @teresecline4858 said, Rhaenys mother was Jocelyn Baratheon. Majority of the time a Baratheon marries into another house the member that is produced has the traditional Baratheon black hair(I personally think its because of the Durrandon blood). Princess Rhaenys inherited this trait as well. The show runners thought it would confuse the show only watchers if she was given her traditional look. Also they wanted to highlight that she was a member of house Targaryen and what better way than giving her the look.
@@anonymous-cg4ot The Three Strong Boyz had brown hair and brown eyes with pug noses. None of them had black hair similar to Rhaenys or Borros or any of the other Baratheon family members.
I have to disagree with the Durrandon blood making the hair of Baratheons black, it was said the Orrys Baratheon, the bastard brother of Aegon the Conqueror, already had the strong black hair. It seams to come from that, in my opinion. @@NRV0
The showrunner said that It was to help the casual viewers differentiate the Velaryons from the Targaryens. Audiences would probably end up confusing characters and their alliances if both houses had pale white skin, purple eyes and silver/white hair.
we urgently need a neural network with a deepfake option that will replace the actor's appearance with the one chosen by the user while preserving the facial expressions of the original actor, just change his appearance as in motion capture
Basically they made members of house Velaryon black because of… 1. A chart saying that there needs to be more prominent characters with increased melanin levels. 2. They consider the audience to be idiots who need to need to have everything given to them on this important aspect of the story so that there can be no room for misinterpretation. 3. The actor for Corlys Velaryon was so good that they had to change the other casting choices to match.
Rhaenyra Targaryen the most beautiful of women and the cast of the series, an old lesbian, that's how she does it, correct America.Corlys Velaryon is already a mockery. Aegon had the same too until it burned off . Plus they both had short hair ( like the one Daemon had in S1E5 )
Criston Cole looks like a mix of David Corenswet and Hugh Dancy

OUUU OUUU OUUU NOW DO THE DRAGONS PLEASSEEE
Rhaenyra is fat in the book
Can you do a book that has no TV Show? If so the characters from The Magician by Raymon E Fiest will be a dream come true for me.
Creo que Helaena, Aegon y Aemond podrían haber estado también en el video.
Do the DUNE characters next!!
