    A lot of demos I've seen are very dry and methodical but this demo really gives me a sense of what this machine can do. I was on the fence but you've convinced me this belongs in my setup. Good work.

      Thinking about getting one. How well can you record into a DAW? That's a big advantage modern drum machines have over these types of beat machines. I wanna be able to come up with a beat, then record it into my DAW or FL. How easy is that to do?

    I am trying to talk myself into either buying or not buying this machine. I have watched several similar TH-cam vids on it, but this one must be the best, as I’ve watched it three times now. You show that it’s fun, and that’s criterion number one for me!

    • @Decoy303
      @Decoy303 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a quality machine however it's not super versatile. Could have used a few more parameters per part (cowbell has no color option or parameters to change it's sound and the open/closed hi hats share the same circuit). Personally I would buy a used one cheap just to have a bit more modulation (would come in handy with the FM drum). I own this and the Drumbrute and will say I would never get rid of them. Another important note is that the snare and clap on this machine were made corrupted and Arturia knows this and will send you the boards to swap out to fix this.

    do u have anymore video links to drumbrute impact, I purchased a few months ago and was woundering if u can change the sounds over

    • @JH-lo9ut
      @JH-lo9ut 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, there is no way to change the sounds of the drumbrute, other than with external sound effects. This is analogue synth sounds. What you hear is what you get, there are no samples, just the sound of the cirquitry. Theoretically you could get different sounds by physically modifying the cirquitry of the drumbrute, but that would take some serious skills and know-how.
      Arturia Beatstep Pro is a controller/sequencer that has basically the same interface and functionality as the Drumbrute, exept of course, it is not a synthesizer, it has no voice of its own. It also won't load samples into the machine itself, so you need to have it connected to your computer or ipad.
      Roland tr8-S might be the closest thing to this if you want a standalone drum machine that also loads samples.

      I’m inclined to agree, but if you record the audio out and import that into your DAW, maybe you can work some magic there??

      I think the idea is not to sell it to people having already purchased the original one... But for those who waited it is a bargain : almost same product but half the price, more compact, and a beautiful and useful distorsion knob instead of weak and then useless filter knob of the original...
      So if you have the original, just keep it and add a distorsion pedal. You're not the target of this new version. But thanks to people who purchased the original one at full price, we are able now to get this new cheap version (R&D has already being paid) :-)

    Do your movements and knob settings save with the patterns? Can you assemble songs?

      Mouvements and knobs settings are not saved, only the sequence.
      There is a mode song.
