  • Getting my boat back from service and fleeing the heat, we headed back up to Panguitch Lake for some cooler weather and some trout fishing. Turned out to be an epic trip, non stop action in mid August.
Mainly trolling Rapalas, we did cast Rooster Tails, we found fish everywhere! Awesome day!

sure injoy your videos.. i,m also from Southern Utah and go to Panquitch lake. in the the Spring time i go to Red Creek, lots of Tiger trout. but you have to go in the spring time cause the water gets to low to put a boat in. You need a Garmin etrex so you can watch your speed. the best speed is 1.8 mpH. i have a trolling plate on the engine...keep the videos coming..thanks.

Thank you very much for watching!! Had another person mention Red Creek, I'm going to have to give that place a try! Thanks for the tip on the speed, seems like it is a fine line at Panguitch Lake! Tight Lines!

Trolling (slow) Rapala Shad Raps worked really well for us at both bodies of water. Good luck, go get em!!

Great video. I really enjoy watching your stuff. Panguitch lake is my go to for ice fishing. Best in the state in my opinion! I've been watching your powell vids to get ready for a september trip down there.

Great video and channel. Made it up there a few weeks ago and loved it. Hard to beat a lake you can catch em from sun up to down from anywhere. Not positive, but it looked like the fish at 5:33 might've been a lil cutty. I'd only realized I'd caught one after looking back at pics, bright out there. Tight lines!

Love the videos and the content. Would you do a video on your boat and what set up you are running on it. I'm always curious about how everyone sets up the systems and what gear they take and don't take. Also anything unique about storing and organizing your tackle. Thanks for the great channel!

Thank you very much for watching and supporting the channel!! That sounds like a good idea, I've had similar requests about doing a boat video. I'll put that together in the near future! Tight Lines!!

So good to see you both fishing again - even if was only for "slimers." I'll second the suggestion to get a handheld GPS since your finder doesn't have one. Lake maps with contours, waypoints, speed, and much more.

My dad and I watched your last video of panguitch lake and we only live an hour and a half away so we decided to make a trip. My 4year old caught one decent rainbow then with a little bad luck both our big motor and kicker motor decided to die and not start again on the opposite side of the lake from the boat ramp lol barely made it back with an electric trolling motor. I need to go back for redemption but I think I'll take my boat next time

Thank you for watching! Hate to hear that about your boat, hope it gets resolved without issue. My boat was stuck in the shop for weeks waiting on a backordered part, drove me mad. Get back out there and get em! Tight Lines!
