Its just hills and curves, I like loops and corkscrews. I would ride it though.

Yeah, I would love to see an inversion on a giga coaster in the future. The only one I can think of would be Hyperion at Energylandia, but that’s all the way in Europe and it’s a hyper coaster. Either way it’s still a fun ride. Honestly although I was trashing this ride in the POV at the end I think it’s an underrated roller coaster and I see why some people enjoy it.

That first drop looks straight vert! 😨

It does almost look vertical, but it’s an 85 degree drop. I for some reason like Fury 325’s drop more when I rode it a few years ago. It just felt like you got more sustained floater airtime whenever you went down the near vertical drop and the chain-lift is a little slower when it crests the top, so you flew out of your seat. This ride throws you into the drop with more speed because of the very fast chain lift, so the drop feels shorter than it actually is.

I can only ride a banshee and the other 52 inches rides but probably when I’m tall enough I would ride orion because my dad will get so mad for just not riding it

I would just wait until you hit the height limit, but I actually had a similar situation a little bit ago. When I went to Cedar Point around 4 years ago I wanted to ride Top Thrill Dragster (the og version), and my brothers chickened out. I told my dad I really wanted to ride it, and even though I was above the height limit he still wouldn’t let me because he was afraid that something bad would happen to me if I rode it. I eventually went back later that summer with my mom and Top Thrill Dragster I believe was closed for maintenance for the whole week, so I was left empty handed again with no rides on Top Thrill Dragster. Then, the “incident” happened on Top Thrill Dragster and the ride got closed down for about 2 years now. I’ll maybe check Top Thrill 2 out another time, but since I just went to Kings Island and Cedar Point this summer it might be a little bit before I go back.

I’m 54 inches now bc I got a surgery that makes me 3 inches taller i’m almost the size of my brother😃
Edit: make that 55 and I rode it super fun😁

@omdiman123isthebest Well congrats! I’m glad you liked it, and enjoy the new coaster for 2024! I wish I could go back to Ohio, but I might be busy next summer.

I’ve never been here when this coaster was built is it good?

It is pretty fun, but I think Fury 325 at Carowinds is better in my opinion. Orion is not too far off though the more I think about it. I think it’s pretty fun, and it would probably make a trip to Kings Island worth it if you ever want to go back.

How did you film, did you have camera on glasses or something?

I use 4K OhO sunshine glasses. I bought them last year, and they have actually held up pretty well. I’m not very happy with the way some of the videos turn out, but I still think it’s better than nothing.
Here’s the link to the item I believe I bought: www.amazon.com/OhO-Glasses-Resolution-Sunglasses-Outdoor/dp/B0C7VBJYDF?th=1&psc=1
Otherwise, I know there are other glasses like iVue vista has good 4K glasses too that have decent sound quality. There are also pivot head glasses. The glasses need some improvements for stabilization definitely and FPS improvements maybe to 4K 60FPS, but that’s all I use. I also have a GoPro which I would much rather use than using camera glasses, but sadly most amusement parks don’t allow GoPros, so they leave me with no choice but to use the camera glasses. I’ve gotten used to them, but I know some people don’t like the way they look. Otherwise, I also use a strap for it so they don’t fall off. If you need the link I can send those too. Have a good day :)

Also I do use a 60FPS video converter to make the videos 60FPS and not 30FPS (which makes the footage look more choppy). 60FPS looks a lot smoother and looks better than most 30FPS videos, but I know some people like options and it can vary based on the persons opinion, so I like to give the best of both worlds.

@@itsdecentpovs2728 yes would love the link to the strap as well! Thank you! 😀 I think the video was great! Unfortunately theme parks I have been going to been making people take off their glasses too. But I feel like those would be easier to hide for a minute then put on while going up for the first drop.

I bought these glasses straps last year as well and they work really well. I gave some to my friends because they come in a six-pack, but otherwise I still have 2 unused ones. Sadly, I looked it up and they were off sale.
Here is the link to it anyway:
      www.amazon.com/ONME-Adjustable-Retainer-Universal-Sunglass/dp/B01CXZ6F3U
I originally bought them specifically because the reviews said that they were roller coaster approved by many people, which I’ve taken them on all of the coasters on this channel, and they work fine. Here is another one I found online that I would recommend though.
      Link:
      www.amazon.com/HALF-CRESCEN-Glasses-Sports-Sunglasses/dp/B09XKNDFMG/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?crid=1ND4Q9631Y1S5&keywords=glasses+straps+for+roller+coasters&qid=1696911808&sprefix=glasses+straps+for+roller%2Caps%2C100&sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1
You don’t have to take my word though, so if you find a different one online that you think is better, then choose that one instead.
I’m very surprised that amusement parks you have been to have been doing that. I’m guessing it’s because most people don’t have glasses straps that they require you to take them off. I would definitely recommend wearing a glasses strap for the camera glasses though (mainly because they are expensive and you don’t want to have to buy another) because it is possible it might fall off if there are inversions or airtime moments. The only question I was asked about my glasses was at Kings Island because when I was riding one of the flat rides they actually asked if I was wearing glasses with a camera. I didn’t bring my camera glasses on the flat rides, but I’m pretty sure I wasn’t supposed to on the roller coasters now the more I think about it. Most employees don’t mind, but if they do ask you to take them off, then I’d recommend listening to them just to be safe from getting asked to leave the park. I brought my camera glasses with a strap on Steel Vengeance (which has metal detectors), and they didn’t go off and no questions were asked. The first time around I did ask if I could bring the glasses on though, and they still said yes as long as they had a glasses strap on them, Anyways, I hope this helps and have a good one. :)

@@itsdecentpovs2728 Thank you!! 😀Yeah I definitely would listen if they asked me to take off. It was at Sea World Orlando and if I remember right Busch Gardens Tampa they were telling people to remove their glasses. But with glasses strap on they may not say anything.

If you are talking about the ride it really is not that bad. It does look a little intimidating when you get near the ride though.

I agree. It's high. It's fast. It's boring and sanitized. Just another unimaginative cookie-cutter "hyper" coaster.

    • @itsdecentpovs2728
      @itsdecentpovs2728  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

Yeah, some people don’t like this coaster that much. I like some B&M hypers and gigas, but it can sometimes vary.
