The leek is the national symbol of the country of Wales. It is in the onion family and can probably be used the same way. All those tiny slices you have can be part of a leek soup!
I cut my leeks lengthwise before I chop them, then wash them, because they have a lot of dirt in between the leek leaves. Potato leek soup is wonderful.
2:50 a plant related to the onion, with flat overlapping leaves forming an elongated cylindrical bulb which together with the leaf bases is eaten as a vegetable. It is used as a Welsh national emblem.
Leeks are like a mix between an onion and garlic. Nothing like wild spring leeks. Wild leeks are found on the side of little streams/creeks. They are way way better than anything you can find in the store!
These things are pretty cool, but I really wish he would read the directions and actually learn to use them the correct way, because it just kills me inside to see him struggle so much with something that's very easy to use, if you just use it correctly. 😂 Still love the videos regardless, and nothin but love for Taras.
Sometimes I feel like he stays on one product for far too long and I find myself fast forwarding through that product if he stays on it for too long, like we get it, we know what it does you can move on to the next item now please and thank you lol.
That beer can opener is interesting but here in Canada we just have cans where the pull tab removes the whole top like that already without needing a gadget
The first tin cans were so thick they had to be hammered open. As cans became thinner, it became possible to invent dedicated can openers. In 1858, Ezra Warner of Waterbury, Connecticut patented the first can opener. The U.S. military used it during the Civil War. In 1866, J. Osterhoudt patented the tin can with a key opener that you can find on sardine cans today at your local supermarket.

That can opener is the best that you've tested in that mini-series! Good to use the empty can to make homemade candles for the patio or camping
