If a hard kayak is impractical, there are a range of folding types, from sit ons, sit ins, and canoes. Have a look at some videos of the Decathlon Itiwit X500 ?

Thanks Rob. It's a Gopro 10 Black and the kayak is a Venture Easky 15. Touring/sea kayak.
