I lived in Toronto in the early 70's and there were ads that included"lets go to the beach and watch some wood. Then instead of watching beachwood aging , lets go have a beer." I cannot remember the brand of Canadian beer but there were several radio ads. They are worth finding.
Since I'm near Toronto, I'd love to find those ads. Years ago I was supposed to get an NAB cart player for digitizing my own tapes from when I worked in radio. Never happened.
Oh man classic ad from 2002, forgot that it was accompanied with Pomp and Circumstance (yes I know my classical music) and definitely hit the note of being a proud Canadian 🏒🇨🇦 I haven’t seen this in years so got the nostalgia going and the goosebumps Yo that intro tho lol And thanks for messing with my hazy brain with the mirroring this time…thought I was tripping balls Ok maybe I am
This whole thing is loaded with elements of truth from before that time. I remember being told to speak "American" more as a joke in the 80s and 90s, but it was said more seriously the further south I went.
hahaha so I shoot on my iphone with the screen facing us so when you put it in an editor, it shows it like that and I have to manually flip it horizontally. I clearly forgot to do this on this edit 😆
@@CanadiansReact It's cool like an airplane hanger. I like yours better, because I want to feel like I'm in my grampa's shop. I actually did a study in college (or "at university" to you) about the psychological ramifications of the compactness or expansiveness of human space in all aspects of our lives. Believe me, your garage is better for your channel.
Brings tears to your eyes, the commercial too but in a much better way.

Lol, good ad. I don't like beer but I appreciate the ad. ♡♡♡
There used to be a beer commercial that showed the 15 foot tall beaver statue in my hometown.
It's actually Molson-Coors now. The two companies merged in 2005.
Shows how much I was paying attention, but then again I was mostly drunk until 2011...

Ok maybe I am
So does everyone who ever graduated from University.
hahahahaha glad we are keeping you on your toes :P
Makes me proud to be Canadian. Even though I'm not. Powerful stuff!
Any beer can pass if its freezing cold out of a tap....and one has had many good beers prior
If it warms up fast or is a cruddy brand, it won't always pass because it becomes piss 😉
True!
Gave up drinking in 2011, but I still have the t-shirt with the entire rant on the back!
1:51 We don't speak "American" down here, either

Hi! Have you guys reacted to the Canadian scenes in the Pentaverate?
cant say we have!
You should! 😊
Gotta react to Canadian Idiot by weird Al
I think we have!
Agggghhhhh! You're on the wrong sides! So is the garage!! How many Molsons did you have before posting this? 😁
bhahaha editing error. I have to flip the image because I shoot on my cell phone.
Watched this one with a mirror.
bahahaha
Love their ads, hate their beer. Sorry !!
Said every Canadian ever!
With ya on that!
I was thinking you switched places until I noticed the shop was flipped too. What's the deal?
It's all good though. As long as you keep the videos in the cool shop. Don't like that giant garage. I would have unsubscribed if you kept it there.

Awe but Ryans garage is cool :). Glad you stick around ...thx!

You switched sides.
hahaha I forgot to flip the video in editing
Do you guys really say “zed” instead of “zee” like the Brits??
You'd be surprised how many of our word spellings are British- and French-based
I definitely do! 🇨🇦
Nope. Don't like it, you're in the wrong places. This is like seeing Rhett and Link in the wrong seat
Technically they’re in the right places though! The footage is just reversed 😂
Yeah I was clearly drinking too much molson while editing.
You guys switched spots. Weird bud
Canada is a monarchy nuff said
