God is so good....thank God for simple words of love and encouragement///God is faithful///thank the Lord for all those that serve our country....and those who serve the LORD
This is awesome by the "Bib Chief", he was the best and this is so fitting for our country today, Faith in God and the "Common Man". Thanks for sharing.
I heard Big Chief do this at the NQC in Nashville, he stepped out and set down on one of the steps with mic in hand and held the large crowd spellbound as he recited the Common Man.
Thanks for posting this. The Statesmen used to visit our home when I was a young girl and I remember Jim sitting in our livingroom singing this some for us. My cousin was in Vietnam and this song really helped me understand Gods love for us. Thanks again.
this spoken song and "little boy lost" Chief does so perfect. he might have the purest richest bass voice of them all. as pure as Bev Shea but a bit lower.
Statesmenfan..I just want to thank you for posting these videos of the Statesmen..Hovie Lister is (was) my Uncle..I can't tell you how much, I appreciate these videos..Big Chief was awesome..I was to young to remember him, with the Statesmen..Just, Thank You..
Love the Big Chief and this story
God bless America...bless us all
