    Hey everyone! I'm sitting on a lot of "In Depth Reviews" that have already been filmed during the last 6+ months and I want to try to create a hybrid between my traditional "In Depth Review" and new "In Depth Tour" formats. In other words, instead of scripting out this video, like I normally do in my reviews, I voiced it over on the spot and simplified the editing a bit. I think it's less stat heavy, more natural sounding and easier to listen to. I want to hear your feedback on this hybrid format for the videos that I have already filmed. Going forward, my plan is to do more POV content. Let me know your thoughts!

      Hey Keyle, good job! I would love to see, if you go back too your traditional "In Depth Review"! It was awesom! For now, the voiceover is a good step for the old feeling! Keep on! Greets from germany!

      Why can't you just go back to what you did before? I understand you're technically a car reviewer but there are so, so many of those on TH-cam. Your channel was one of the few actual incredibly unique ones. I remember discovering your channel back in like 2010, I really, really liked those videos. It felt just like going to a dealership and being able to look at practically every nook and cranny of a car, seeing how things worked, etc.
      Realistically I know the actual reason was because of you becoming a TH-cam partner and probably having to adhere to some specific conditions, guidelines and quality, but seeing you place those clickbait thumbnails just seemed..odd.
      I'm still a huge fan, I look forward to your videos and they're still very informative, I just miss the older SaabKyle vids.
      All the best to you.

      My friend, you accomplished what you achieved by being yourself. i like the old, i likethe new. if it ( the vehicle) deserves this format, go with it. if its a regular drive by review like the old days, go with that. i love these regardless of which way theyre presented. imho, theres not one right or wrong way to do this. each car sets the review style. anyways my friend, keep doing what you do best, you are the gold standard by which car reviews are done.

    Back when GM wasn't afraid to produce something cool! The SSR was almost the 2nd coming of the Cyclone: without the special engine!

    The difference from the Corvette's LS2 and the LS2 in the SSR and the Trailblazer SS is that the SSR and the TBSS got an Intake that rises higher to handle all of that Torque and a Mechanical Fan over Electric Fans found in the Corvettes.

    Before even watching the video - I LOVE this car. It is a full road-going concept car, which i always appreciate (even if i dont like the looks). Stuff like this, the Ford Thunderbird, and Pontiac Solstice are such cool cars! Great video. The more ‘regular’ cars are the best reviews!

    I love my SSR dearly.I will have to admit that it has been a good car,but it will be the first time that I have ever had a surprise to show when you let your foot get heavy.I was very excited about driving the car everytime I got in and went to the store ,or any where for that matter. It's a very nice comfortable ride and response from 0-60 is quicker than they say.Thank you Chevrolet for a car/truck that means what it says and says what it means.Super Sport Roadster is just that.🙂

Maybe you should own one lol. Anyway glad your doing well Kyle and thanks for making this video. You are awesome at what you do. Keep up the awesome work. Take care.

    I don’t feel like any of these retro types of vehicles have aged well at all. Even the 05-09 Mustangs became long in the tooth pretty quickly. They were something that looked cool at first, but grew old very quickly.

    • @hakeemsd70m
      @hakeemsd70m 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I think the 05-09 Mustang is one of the best looking, if not THE best looking, Mustang of all-time. The styling is so well-proportioned. I also think the Chevy SSR, HHR, Plymouth/Chrysler Prowler, and VW New Beetle are all still great looking vehicles. I guess I just like weird cars, I can't help it.

Back in the day I saw a hot rod designer rendering (forget who) of an SSR converted into an old school panel delivery...think it even had a side opening rear door. totally changed the proportions, which I always considered a weak spot on these...was really cool and something I would have liked to have seen in metal.

      GM is arguably one of the worst car companies in the world, but they occasionally make a gem like this.

    My father has the same car in the video but as a manual. Like Kyle said, just cruising around and rowing through the gears is a joy.

    Your intros always confuse me a bit...what do you say at 0:16 ("...start it up, X the engine...")...subtitles show a different word every time.
    (english is not my native language)

    • @saabkyle04
      @saabkyle04  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's strange, but not surprising, subtitles on here aren't very accurate it seems. For this video, it should be "start it up, show the engine, get an exhaust clip, etc."
